This is my favorite Final Fantasy, If you love this game I reccomend White Knight Chronicles II for the ps3 for a next gen game with similar gameplay.

Final Fantasy 12 is ultimately the best Final Fantasy. My favorite character is Balther eh is so epic but no one ever gives him enough credit. if he didnt run into Vaan in the castle nothing would have ever happened. Final Fantasy 7 was good but this is way better.

12 is my absolute fav of all the ff. though i haven't played 7 yet, which I have no doubts about it's superiority. my least favorite is X, which many people seem to like. It has some good notes, but overall, I missed the fan boat on X.

I agree. I've met a lot of people who don't like FFXII for it's lack of character depth and political drama.

Personal;y I hate Political stuff. But FFXII is my favorite FF game to date!!!

I really like the cast in this one. Balthier is just plain amazing.

(then again, I liked FFVIII and most people didn't like that one either.)

some people hate this game because of many reasons:

1. it's story is, according to "them", not very Final Fantasy-ish

2. they removed Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh (there are ships though)

3. No deep background on the characters

4. it's a political drama

and alot more

but people, like myself, love it because of only one reason: IT"S EPIC

Yeah its not really focused on the characters, it's a World type story, about politics and life and such.

All people want is BIG SWORDS! and KICK ASS CHARACTERS! and GUNS!

I can tell you that the game play is really,really good and you don't get bored

of the fights^^(just like in every other final fantasy).But if you want a great love story,ff 12 is not really having one.......

This game is worth the buy. I didn't get into it at first, but after awhile I loved it. The fighting system is different from the others.

dude any final fantasy is worth playing, of course if you´re a new fan, the older ones will look quite dated, ff 12 is really good, although it has a new fightng system different form the previous ones, anyway if you want to feel the ff experience the way it as suposed to be play ff 7.

belias is like a fire summon, so u need to use like ice magic,u can move ur character anyways from different place so try to avoid his hits and dont forget to always cure.
