@moraruro my knowledge on that is mostly forgotten, but Christianity and/or Catholicism existed during and a bit before this time @ the 300's I believe or that was when a roman emperor made it a viable religion. Sadly, my memory is hazy but its been around for awhile

@moraruro Catholocism and Orthodoxy were not created because of the great schism. Thats why it is called a schism they already existed but as one unit. actualy orthodoxy just means the one who is in the right. The actual religion has always been called Catholic. The first written record of the church being called catholic is from the year 106 A.D.
