U2 is my favourite band of all time, I've been listening to them since I was tiny. So when I heard Glee had done a cover of One, I just had to look it up and it's not too bad... It's a nice tribute but it's obviously nothing compared to the original. I'm just glad that Glee introduces older music to younger generations. My younger sister watches this show and she fell in love with R.E.M after hearing Losing My Religion on this show.

I didn't come to this video to complain. I heard it was on glee and I YouTubed what it was, that's all. This song means more to me than possibly any other song, and they butchered it. They destroyed the emotion of the meaning behind the lyrics. I can't honestly say I like this cover.

Originals are always better. I do love the Glee versions. I love the arrangements. And as someone said before they aren't trying to make a better version. And if U2 didn't want them to cover their song they wouldn't have given them permission. Your favorite band is getting money for this. Be happy.

And stop clicking on Glee videos if you hate Glee. The eff is wrong with you people. If I hate a show I'm not gonna go out of my way to comment on a video of a TV show I hate. Grow up.

Why do everybody talk shit about Glee? their arent trying to be better then U2, they are actually paying tribute to them, does everyone who do a cover of a U2 song, have to do it better then U2, because if thats the case you might aswell make it illegal to make a cover version of the song since that probably no one can do that. I like U2´s version better, but i also enjoy Glee´s version

thing is though - I think that U2's song One is the boring and irritating song ever.

And glee (no matter how much I don't like the show) managed to make the song sound awesome.

@Angeldog99705 Dude. This version is terrible. The vocals are off and thin sounding and nothing really beats Bono's voice in the ORIGINAL version of the song. So when you say you love this song do you mean this one or the original proper version
