yeah that maverick looks like a straight six model. I have a 70 maverick with a 302 dumped in it. It ran a 12.29 with a mild cam, 4bbl holley carb, posi rear end and stock manifolds, i plan on puttin in steeper gears and some hooker headers this winter and with slicks i bet it'll dip down into mid-high 11's at the track. mavs can go fast for cheap and i doubt you could get a rivera to to get in the 11's for under $1000
