    simple as that lool

  • Charlee Sheen Shirt!!!

  • I laughed so hard at 3:35 lmao

  • @Ronaldinho0927 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LMFAO wait let me go back 1 ,1,1,1,

  • Would it be okay if I skip this? You know..this is too complicated for a beginner like me :(

  • Well if you follow along this is an excellent lesson =)

  • Your awesome!

  • Only one word can describe you truly, and that word is 'Awesome' I'll be on your site everyday to learn and to put this knowledge in practice.

    Kindest regards

    Paddy Landreville

  • ur loosing me when u was playing the melody.....please take it slower :)

  • Major, 4 semitones first then 3 and minor 3 semitones first then 4. Example C major CEG, C minor CD#G. That's how I learned it.

  • Thanks for taking the time for creating and uploading this.

Id say this is intermediate though and certainly not for a beginner.

Why do you use two hands to play one triad? I can't keep track of all your fingers.

  • i love it but u confused me ALOT

  • Wooow o.0

  • good teacher..!!^^

  • Thats a suspended note but thats for another time haha

  • If some one told him about FL Studio he'd be making some hard beats!

  • not the best of lessons but great for my level, just what i needed thx!

  • cool

  • i watched from the beginning of the lesson, but i got lost when watching this oneD:

  • @qaqa003 me too

  • I'm a bad man cause I don't even miss her.

  • Fantastic!

  • why are people saying this is confusing? It's soo easy! O:

  • @LyndsMedia i know right?! :D

  • @LyndsMedia its confusing when you don't understand it. Obviously if you already understand it you understand it.

  • If you got confused, He is using the chord progression 1-4-5 meaning 1 is the root note meaning if your in the key of C then C is the root or 1. Next, 4 is the fourth note in any scale. In C major that is F. The 5 is the fifth note in any scale. In C major that is G. So a 1-4-5 chord progression just means C-F-G.

  • @TheToken420247 but 1-4-5 means C-F-G if your are in C major

  • @TheToken420247 That's a great explanation. I'm a beginning pianist but have played trumpet for several years. Learning the scales, although boring, is the easiest way to learn.

  • Great one. Thnx

  • hes like trying to confuse us.... plus he is intimidating...

  • Wow are you guys serious? I am a complete beginner at this, and I found this quite easy. Does Andrew teach you how to wipe your ass, too? o.O

  • it doesnt even say beginners on this one why're yall complaining...

  • I LOVE YOU!! Seriously I do.....I love the piano and while I am learning it I come to youtube for inspiration and you give me support in my theory classes and everything. THANK YOU!

  • omg its seth rogen!

  • you are very intimidating :/ sorry

  • You're positioning on the chords is too complicated. It would be easier if you used a basic 1-3-5 chord. I'm trying to learn about chord progression, not trying to figure out how you're even constructing a base chord with 5 or 6 fingers!

  • @rjslade completley agreed, you cant run before you walk, using the simple triadic position of 1-3-5 and moving from then into different inversions or fingerings would be the best way to go, this guy is a tosser

  • @rjslade Why would you learn chord progressions before knowing how to construct chords? o_O

  • @Alexiaden93 Have you never heard of 1-3-5 placement? It's a form of playing chords. Your question is a misdirection; a good instructor of entry level subjects starts with basics and builds from there.

  • @rjslade 1-3-5 as in the chord note, the third and the fifth ? I can't see how it makes the subject any more advanced. I mean you just play the same three notes, if you want a three note chord, in whatever order you want, with as many fingers as you want. And I do believe having some form of chord knowledge, at least the basic type you mentioned, is a prerequisite for learning chord progressions. You can't blame the teacher, he probably has other videos on chords specifically.

  • Toward the end it started to sound like chicago hard to say im sorry lol awesome.

  • thanks.

  • Hard for me to play it can u make it much simpler.Thank you for the information.

  • I suggest to anyone here having trouble 1st to learn all the notes on the keyboard, then the basic major and minor scales, which there is a formula for. Learn about semi tones and whole tones, which is way easier than memorizing as i am learning.

  • @nastydrotaste Thats what I did. You cant make cords if you dont even know the notes on the keyboard LOL!.

  • Totally not for beginners I got lost really quickly...

  • @Zombiedevice il presume that you know your chords and you variations if not practice them ! and then have a look at chains of chords that fit that's basically what this is dont bother with augmented and suspended chords until you need to because although there not hard at all but it can get confusing if your just starting out so lern your chords and scales ect. then just mess about with them and see what you can get thats the whole fun of it good luck ;)

  • @Zombiedevice i'm with u lol

  • @Zombiedevice you need to know a little bit of music theory to start. i mean he can't give u everything, pick up a book and read.

  • These lessions are not for beginners.. I am completely lost.. I am back to Andrews Piano series. I will comeback here once i learn something about piano from Andrews lessions. :)

  • Thank you very much for the good lessons

  • what song did you play in the beggining

But what put she ice on the cake for me is this youtube videos. much appreciation to you man. Do you teach r&b styles of music. Thats what I'm into mostly?
