I will never forget tears in my eyes when Jon played Chopin in 1991 with Deep Purple in Poznan, and how he was speaking after the show had been finished. This was the first time Deep Purple visited my country. This was the line up including Joe Lynn Turner, it was the rock performance of my life. When I realized it was over I thought most exciting moment of my life passed. Strange feeling. Thank you Jon and I keep my fingers crossed. looking forward to your following projects. The Hammond through a normal speaker is a brutal sound but combined with Ritchies Marshall and Fender without any distortion or pedals gave an unbeatable sound. No other band had that.

Don Airey is the man who replaced Lord when Lord retired. Airey has some great credentials, being a member of bands such as Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. I agree, Lord is untouchable, but Lord wanted to retire, what would be the point in quitting because Lord retired. Airey is the only person I can see taking over for Lord.

Jon is so good he has a patch named after him on most keyboards on the Roland Synth it's Peep Durple (to avoid copyright issues), I think on the others it's Lordy or "oh lordy" There's not another keyboardist on the planet that can lay claim to that.
