I'm so happy I was able to find the original version of this dance and not that newer version filled with more perky smiles, hair extensions, and fancy costumes. All too distracting for me. Not to mention they destroyed the original dance done be Gillian Norris. In this version I see and feel the dedication to the dancing and storytelling.

I love Irish Dance and it is not GAY at all. All guy irish dancers are surronded by really skinny muscular girls. Thats not very gay. Oh ans let me say I loooove Bernie . I go to a camp where she is an instructer and she is soo nice

@ulusoykalle13 First part is a traditional Treble Jig rearranged. The second part is a reel, don't know if it is traditional. It has an odd timing though. The whole piece in the show is called Breakout, for obvious reasons.
4:26 to 4:39, rhythm is from Riverdance, watch Thunderstorm. As well as 5:38 through 6:10, and he did 6:31 - 6:38 in Riverdance as well. and I'll admit, some of what he is doing is a bit strange, but he can get away with it because he is the best dancer in the world in my opinion.
@ILuvGreenDayX And actually, I revoke that opinion, the best Irish Dancer in the world is probably someone like Joe Bitter or John Kerry, at least nowadays. And as well, about all the stuff from Riverdance, since he probably choreographed all that himself when he was back in Riverdance, he retains the rights to use it. And since he made this show, I guess he decided to throw some of it in there. It does look impressive to the average viewer, so it's not that surprising.
SHUT UP NOW, godbac51, what he does is incredible. And Irish Dance is not gay,it is one the best things that has ever happened to me. I have done Irish Dance for 6 years, and I can't imagine what my life would have been without it.

@CataDanna Thanks for the advice, I'll try to keep it in mind in the future. It's just that I get enough of that shit in real life that when other people tease other people for doing Irish Dance, I tend to get a little upset. In general when people hate on Irish Dance, I get upset.
