@fp3690 i am a high school basketball player in america, i have played and trained against college players, i know how they work out, while some of it might be steroids in some cases the majority of people bulk up through hard work the doping regulations are far stricter in college than at the high school level in the us and often the tests screen for steroid use in the past so the top recruits with a head on their shoulders wont bother to dope because it jeopardizes their future

I have known some of the top high school basketball players in Greece and they train 6-7 hours a day, every day, as well. Matches between Greece and Spain are always very tied and tense cause there's a lot of rivalry as in Madrid-Barcelona or Panathinaikos-Olympiakos (I guess).Normally,the ones who complain about refs are the ones who lose so it's a good sign for Spain that greeks complain in the last years (we've already cried too much vs Greece in the 90's).

But there are two things that can be replied to it: first, it's remarkable that a Greek macho-fighter ended running backwards that way after receiving the blow (check it on the video) instead of keeping up; and second, basketball is about passing and scoring, not about standing up when you receive a blow or a push. After all, we are talking about is basketball, not boxing. ;)

Your players know that they are inferior to ours. So they try to take their games against Spain to the typical Greek harsh tactics, pushing, hitting and provoking. Most of our player aren't strong (they are technical and tactical genius) and did not want to let the Greeks take advantage of their dirty ways, so they didn't do much to resist against their bad ways. That's truth. Check how Diamantidis goes for Navarro for no reason, or how our players always fall after being pushed or hit.
