What do YOU do for nature that they didn't? @kradhaissem actually, I have been working in wildlife rehab and rescue for 20 years. Yes, they got some good photos, but so do many other wildlife photographers. I didn't need to know about this guy to know that bears deserve the right to live in the wild, and I believe most people with half a brain already knew that. Perhaps you didn't and watching this guy harass the bears in a national park where they are already protected opened YOUR ignorant eyes - don't assume that for everyone else.

Cops serve a purpose (though often not competently). This man was serving no purpose. In fact, in an interview, on park ranger noted that he was actually doing more harm than good for those bears because he was giving them the impression that humans are harmless, thus making them more vulnerable to being killed by one. Regardless, what he did was stupid and he did ask for it. I feel really sorry for the family of the woman whose death that man is responsible for.

Cops serve a purpose (though often not competently). This man was serving no purpose. In fact, in an interview, on park ranger noted that he was actually doing more harm than good for those bears because he was giving them the impression that humans are harmless, thus making them more vulnerable to being killed by one. Regardless, what he did was stupid and he did ask for it. I feel really sorry for the family of the woman whose death that man is responsible for.

@fotwunny The girl chose her fate as well. She could have left at the airport, prior, or even during the attack (where he actually was yelling at her to leave). I find it odd that you're more concerned with the girl's family than she herself, as well. But ok.
The view that he was habituating the bears to humans does make some sense, however I think there is something to be said for peaceful study.

Humor and Hate don't mix. Just a video of a fake bear's ass with poop coming out, that might have been funny. Probably too complicated for you to pull off, but it would have certainly sucked much less -- abstract, ironic, tasteless, but possibly funny.
