2 Corinthians 4:4, "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." Satan here is a "god". Michael then could also be called a god, since it is only being used as a title. Michael resides in heaven with God as his "right hand man" or "son".
@flamesRules There is only one true God who is powerful and created all things. Any other "gods" are false and we should not go after them. Jesus and the Father are two separate beings, but both are said to have created ALL things. They share the same nature; that of being God. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus and not Michael the archangel. Also, if John 1:1 says "a god", then John 1:6,12,13,18,23 should read "a god" as well because of no definite article.
Michael is Gods archangel, meaning that he is the chief of the angels in heaven. (Jude 1:9, Daniel 12:1) This leads me to believe that Jesus is the same person as Michael. Now if Jesus is Michael then this scripture (John 1:1) would make more sense. Oh, and real quick Michael translated means " he who is like God". Now this is where to definition comes into play. Michael could be called a god. Much like Satan could be called a god in which his domain is Earth.
In Luke 1:31-33 it says,"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Here it states that Jesus is to be known as the "Son of the Highest".
Now with that being said lets pick apart that scripture. In the beginning the Word was, meaning that it was a god. The Word was WITH God, this is stating that they are two separate beings. And the Word was a god. Then it restates that it is a god. CAPITALIZATION IS, and I cannot stress this enough EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN THIS SCRIPTURE! Notice when is says "with God", God is capitalized, meaning that God is a being. Then in the next part it says "the Word was a god". God here is a title.
1. a supernatural being, who is worshipped as the controller of some part of the universe or some aspect of life in the world or is the personification of some force
2. an image, idol, or symbolic representation of such a deity
3. any person or thing to which excessive attention is given: money was his god
As an cultural anthropologist I have one view of scripture and that is each translation is created by men & in all such work men have agendas. It is very difficult to translate the Greek as they did not use punctuation and offer few conjunctions in verse.
There is but ONE God as I see it.. My lady is a JW of many years & a good Christian. I'm not a JW but support her. I am a Christian Who does use Jehovah's name in prayer, but I don't make others bend to my thoughts. I copy Jesus & have faith.
I'm not remaing CALM, these fuckers have destroyed the family i love, and they are going to pay, if not by me, by God for sure, because God gave me emotions for a reason: to EXPRESS THEM OUT LOUD: HEY!! COME DOWN FROM YOUR FALSE PULPIT WATCHTOWER SOCIETY! YOU ARE RUINING LIVES HERE!! LET MY FAMILY GO, AND ALL OF THE MILLIONS YOU HAVE SELFISHLY TORN APART IN THE NAME OF A FALSE GODHEAD. JESUS IS LORD, OR: YESHEWA IS YEHOWAH, AND TO DENY THE CHRIST IS EVIL, AND NOTHING LESS, PERIOD. BEWARE OF JA
In Researching 1Cor10:9, the Codex Sinaiticus, the oldest canonization of Greek scriptrues tells us the Greek word is not christ. That's right the Greek word is not CHRIST but "LORD" designated by the nomina sacra letters KN. The ASV, NASB, ISV, GWT, ERV, WEB, NIV agree with this. To take this a step further, since the word "LORD" means Jahovah, the NWT is absolutely correct in its usage of Jahovah at 1Cor10:9.
If "christ" is the accurate word used in 1Cor10:9 found in the KJV then why does the ASV, NASB, ISV, GWT, ERV, WEB, NIV and so many other bibles disagree with that and use the word "Lord" at 1Cor10:9? You failed to share that with us! You made it sound like the JW's are the only ones who don't translate it as "christ". Do all these scholars really think that the Greek word christos means lord? I don't think so..... Shame on you......
@LodiBryan The point is in the Watchtower's Kingdom Interlinear Translation they show "Lord" in the Greek, but translate it "Jehovah". As the footnote in the KIT shows, some manuscripts have "Christ", or "God". There is a good video with interesting comments regarding this verse at : watch?v=wXeXVT9VAHc
@LodiBryan Wow you COMPLETE missed the WHOLE point of this video. Maybe stop to think before you post your complete ignorance and make yourself look like a fool. The point is your NWTS is the ONLY bible that uses "JEHOVAH" in that verse when most other bibles use Lord or Christ.
@jojoneli76 Fool? Is that Christ like? 1Cor10:9 is referring to Nu21:4-9. Verse 6 "The LORD" sent venemous snakes..". "LORD" when written in caps means YHVH (Jahovah) So, it was Jahovah who sent venemouns snakes. Please view 1Cor10:9 of the Codex Sinaiticus online & you will find the word LORD(Jahovah), represented by the nomina sacra KN. Since the Hebrew and Greek both use the word "LORD" and the word "LORD" means YHVH, the NWT is abosolutely correct in its usage of Jahovah at 1Cor10:9.
@LodiBryan The Greek uses the word Lord to refer to Jesus and Jehovah. Some early manuscripts have Christ in 1 Cor 10:9. There are many instances in the NT, where Lord is used to refer to Jesus when it refers to an OT quote or event that refers to Jehovah.
@LodiBryan Actually "fool" is in the bible many times. Jesus even said it so YES it is Christ like. Read a real bible. With everything else you said, in the end it doesn't matter because your failed prophesies and fake bible prove that you are false prophets and not coming from God.
@jojoneli76 If you consider me your enemy, you should still love me as you love yourself instead of calling me names. I'm christian and truth seeker and not affiliated with any church. The bible that I carry is the NIV of 1984 though it is not perfect, as ALL English translated bibles have their problems, I think it's pretty good. However, if there is a discrepancy I go online & view the Codex Sinaiticus for truth. By the way it is not a fake, it is the ancestor of every bible we have today.
The NIV, NASB, ISV, GWT, ASV, ERV, WEB, accuratley use the word "lord" at 1Cor10:9
However the KJV is inaccurate on this one as they use the word "christ"
So the JW's and the translators of the NIV, NASB, ISV, GWT, ASV, ERV, etc are not translating christ as Jahovah but rather correctly translating the nomina sacra KV (kurios) to Lord or better yet Jehovah from researching the earliest of Greek manuscripts such as the Codex Sinaiticus. See it for yourself at codexsinaiticusdotcom
These findings are false. The truth is found in reading the oldest canonized Greek scripts, the Codex Sinaiticus which uses the word "Lord" at 1Cor10:9. The C.S. dates back to the fourth century. codexsinaiticusdotorg
Viewing the Codex Sinaiticus we find the nomina sacra letters KV, denoted for kurios(lord), opposed to the letters XC which denote Christ. These scripts which r over 1700 yrs old tell us the correct word at 1Cor10:9 is "LORD", anything else is a distortion of the truth
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"
@hammerogod Here I find myself having to post again what I just posted to someone on another video.
Isaiah 9:5 For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us, and the dominion will rest on his shoulder; the Wondrous Adviser, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, called his name Sar-shalom.
I don't think you'll be able to follow if you ask me how this translation works from the Hebrew text. I recommend that you start learning at least a little Hebrew each year.
@hammerogod Sure it matters, to say the son is the father disproves the trinity. Concluding the Trinity is a false doctrine. That's why!
2 Pet1:1 is a BIG FAT FRAUD
In viewing 2Pet1:1 in the Codex Sinaiticus on line, notice that the word God represented by the nomina sacra OC(θεοῦ) DOES NOT APPEAR but rather the letters KU (the nomina sacra for the word lord) DOES appear. It reads like this - του κυ ημων και ϲωτηροϲ ιυ χυ -translated - of the lord of us and savior Jesus Christ.
@LodiBryan I don't know what point(s) you are denying and what point(s) you are supporting. And it doesn't matter much to me either way, Jesus IS God. He refers to Himself as "I Am" What and who Jesus Himself claimed to be is all that matters. This whole nonsensical debate about the nature of the "Trinity" has been hashed over for far longer than necessary.. None of it matters to me. Jesus called Himself God. He accepted Thomas' reference to Him as God with praise. Therefore, Jesus IS God.
@LodiBryan " the son can't be the father." Be very careful when you use the term "Can't" when referring to the things of God. Just because our very limited human faculties don't grasp the concept(s) doesn't mean that God has to limit Himself. God did something amazing. Analyze it all you want, you are simply pushing blocks around on the floor. We have some simple frameworks that we CAN understand. ~ Jesus Died for us. ~ Jesus was Resurrected for us. ~ Jesus Saved us. Jesus, and ONLY Jesus.
@TAZEGRAVE You surely don't understand of how John uses the Greek word θεὸς in this verse, and this is because you don't even comprehend the real context because you don't question why each verse says what it says and how it impacts the other verses.
Jesus is not michael the archangel, stop lying watchtower..... Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Christ means "Anointed one"..now explain this.(Psalms 2:2) The kings of earth take their stand and high official themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and his anointed one.
Jehovah is the Almighty God's name.(Ps.83:18; Ex 3:15; 6:2,3; Isa 42:9)..He's Almighty and has all power.(Job 37:23; Rev 4:11; 7:12).Many gods but only one true God.(1 cor 8:5,6; Ps 82:1)
5.For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords,"
6.there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.
7.In the days of his flesh [Christ] offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.
8.Although he was a Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered;
9.and after he had been made perfect he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him,
10.because he has been specifically called by God a high priest according to the manner of Mel
@rachelbinto,explain what jesus said from his own MOUTH..."My father is greater than I","My father is the ONLY TRUE GOD","MY father is the one the glorifies me"...those came from the mouth of JESUS...Nobody else.
@808BoxingSouljahz Jesus is not michael the archangel, stop lying watchtower..... Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
@808BoxingSouljahz Because Jesus was full man, full God. These words were spoken by him as a man. In his fleshly human body, Jesus was lesser because The Father was greater in all his power and glory in heaven. I guess you are not familiar with the trinity but it's ONE God with three distinct persons.
@rachelbinto,John quoted jesus."This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."...you see jesus said his father is the only true God..and his father is his God(John 20:17)
This was Zechariah writing under inspiration, why would you get from the scripture that Jehovah of Armise has sent Jehovah, this was Zechariah talking! hello wake uuup!
@808BoxingSouljahz First it's NOT "taking in knowledge". Only your corrupt bible translates it that way. The Greek word "ginōskōsin" means "that they may know" and EVERY other translation has it like this except your NWTS. Two completely different meanings. Your NWTS "taking in knowlege implies study, study, study. NO it simply means KNOWING God and having a personal relationship with him.
@808BoxingSouljahz As far as what Jesus said, again he was talking in the form of a man. He was basically acknowledging where he came from. This is no way implies he was not part of the Godhead.
Jesus is not equal to his father Jehovah. Jesus was created. Obviously, then, he had a beginning, whereas Jehovah God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotten Son never even considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the Son. (John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 11:3) Jehovah alone is “God Almighty.” (Gen 17:1,Psalms 83:18) Therefore, he has no equal.
@808BoxingSouljahz There is only one true and powerful God. Any other so-called-gods are imposters that people worship instead of the One who created them. He is the mighty God and sustainer of the universe. The Father is this God and so is Jesus.(Col 1:17; Rom 11:36; Heb 2:10; 1 Cor 8:6)
@DaynaPoo99 Jesus is not michael the archangel, stop lying watchtower..... Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Why is it so hard for people to understand. That Jesus and Jehovah share a father and son relationship.Tthat's why the Bible use the term "Father & Son"
@808BoxingSouljahz The Bible was not written in modern times, so we have to understand what is written there from the perspective of that time. Sonship and firstborn are terms denoting inheritance and pre-eminence in Biblical times. The Bible clearly calls David and others firstborn, who are not literally the eldest or first born. Jesus is never called the first creation(protoktisis), because not one thing has been made without him. "Not one thing", means exactly that:)
@rachelbinto you right! not one thing was made without him, then who is the "GRAND CREATOR"?..The one that created Jesus, then All other things were created "THROUGH" him not "BY" him.
For he(Jesus) received from GOD the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 2Peter.1:17
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that He(Father, Jehovah) is your GOD. John.8:54
That with with one heart and mouth glorify the GOD and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans.15:6
@rachelbinto,Jehovah and Jesus share titles, although there are subtle differences. Alpha and Omega, the Greek equivalent to saying A-to-Z in Eng. is a descriptive title that Jehovah and Jesus may share, but for different reasons. Jehovah is the ultimate First and Last,in that he is the only person in existence that had no beginning,he alone innately possesses immortality and life in himself. No one gave Jehovah life, but he gives life to all others, including his firstborn and only-begotten Son.
As the firstborn Son of all Creation, Jesus is unique among all of God's sons, in that he was the first and only creature directly created by Jehovah. All [others] were created through the Son. That is why, in fact, that Jesus is called the only-begotten Son of God. Jesus is also the first creature raised from the dead to immortality. That's why the Bible calls him the "firstborn from the dead."...(CONT')
At Col 1:18, Paul said of Christ: "He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things." The next verse goes on to show that it pleased God to make his son first in all things. Jesus is "last" in the sense that he will never be surpassed in glory by any fellow creature. He will always be the closest to Jehovah.
@rachelbinto,last I checked A father comes before a son, jesus was sent(made it known that he did not come on his own initiative),did his father's will, not his own.Worshipped his father and made his dads name known..Jehovah is Greater than Jesus..father loved the world so much ge gave his only begotten Son jesus..jesus was made in the exact image as jehovah.share SOME qualities but certain things and power seperates them...I love u Jehovah & Jesus...peace!
Jehovah God is the Creator. (Revelation 4:11) He is without beginning or end, and he is almighty. (Psalm 90:2) Jesus, on the other hand, had a beginning. (Colossians 1:15, 16) Referring to God as his Father, Jesus said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28) Jesus also explained that there were some things neither he nor the angels knew but that were known only by his Father.—Mark 13:32.
@808BoxingSouljahz You are watching these videos of your own accord; nobody is forcing you to do so. Jesus is the mighty God, and Jehovah is the mighty God as well.(Is 9:6; 10:21). There is only one true and powerful God who created all things. Jesus created all things. You do the math:)
@rachelbinto So Jesus sent himself to earth to do his own will(but he said.."Not everyone saying to me Lord,Lord will enter into the kingdom, but the one that is "DOING THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN WILL"..while on earth he prayed to himself, after getting baptized he spoke to himself from heaven saying."This is my beloved so whom i approved" Ressurect himself, exalted himself to a higher position to only sit on his own right hand, then hands the kingdom over back to himself,LMAO!!!!!
@808BoxingSouljahz Yeah, Jesus and the Father are distinct persons who share the attributes, honors and deeds that belong only to God. Jesus created all things; not ONE thing that has been made was made without Jesus.(John 1:3) ALL things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; ALL things have been created through him and for him.(Col 1:16) Jesus is the first and the last. The Father is the first and the last.
Jesus referred to himself as the "Son of man"..now what about in daniels vision..when he seen the "Son of man" gaining access to the "Ancient of days"(Jehovah)..and jehovah gives him all authority..because of his faithfulness while on earth.
Jesus said "What I teach is not mines, but belongs to the one that sent me" and who is that? what about john 17:3? It speaks about jesus and the Only true God...can you please tell ne what's the name of the God and father that jesus worshipped? Rachelbinto i'm done here..you have a blessed life sis.
@rachelbinto,Again in luke 4:8 who did jesus said to worship him or his daddy? When speaking to mary madgalene who did jesus say that he's going too? In 1 corinthians 11:3..who is the Head of christ? Also in 1 cor 15 who does Jesus gives the kingdom back too? In a vision jesus was seen sitting on the right hand of who?
Jesus is Jehovahs christ...Jesus has a God that he worships before he came to earth, while he was on earth and now.. Jesus is now ruling on behalf of Jehovah..Jesus was exalted to a higher position..Jehovah says now we must honor his son,he that honors jesus honors me..After jesus rules as king for a thousand years..he'll give the kingdom back to his God and father Jehovah.
@808BoxingSouljahz In the Old Testament it was YAHWEH, or Jehovah that is represented by LORD in modern translations. But, Jesus was worshiped while he was here and will be worshiped by all people and angels in the end. Does God share his worship with gods?
@rachelbinto,that name was Given by who? The name jesus literally means: Jehovah is salvation.Psalms 83:18 reveals Who is the Most high over all the earth. And luke jesus tells satan that its Jehovah who should be worshipped alone..
@808BoxingSouljahz And yet Jesus received proskuneo worship when he was here on earth and in the end every knee will bow at the name of Jesus, which is above every name. The tetragrammaton does not appear in the New Testament, because the name that the apostles called on, preached and did their miracles by was the name of Jesus.
The says what concerning the LORD and the king? προσεκύνησαν is the word I want to draw your attention to. The problem with you Trinitarians is that you read men's books and websites when you should be studying the Bible.
@808BoxingSouljahz Who is it that is exalted to the highest place, has the name that is above every name and at whose name every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth?
That with with one heart and mouth glorify the GOD and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans.15:6
I thank GOD through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of GOD; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans.7:25
Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Matt.11:25
Jesus made clear, the only true GOD is the Father(Jehovah)
@rachelbinto why do you ask if Jesus is a False god? He is the Son of the only TRUE God..in isaiah jesus is reffered to as a "Mighty god"(El gibbor) but Jehovah is "Almighty God"(El shaddai)..Jesus is King of kings and Lord of Lords..Jehovah is the God of gods that's i title that Jesus doesn't share with his daddy.
Jesus said, those that hear my words and believe in the One that sent me has eternal life. John.5:24
Eternal life is to know You(Jehovah, Father) the only true GOD, and Jesus Christ, the One You sent forth. John.17:3
Jesus said, what I teach(doctrine) is not mine, but belongs to the One that sent me. John.7:16
But to us there is but one GOD, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1Cor.8:6
@rachelbinto A false god would be an idol or that which Yhvh didn't give authority to. Start from scratch, learn to read in context (which can at places stretch over chapters), and come to accept that the true God of the [1] Thessalonians [1:9-10] who Apostle Paul acknowledged. As for your "triune god," you don't have eternal life with such a one; John 17:3.
Nice job Rachel, I've used the NWT old testament to prove Jesus is God (I and the Father are one) but had never seen this particular verse in the NT. I'd say the local Kingdom Hall has put out a 'don't visit' advisory on you.
@mwilson70201 Thanks. This summer I had a JW regularly coming to my house for a Bible study---she came about 7 times. We did a study on the Bible using the Bible alone reading whole passages of scripture in context. Eventually she wanted to discuss whether the NWT was a good translation. We used the Kingdom Interlinear version and compared it to the NWT and then she said that she didn't have time to prepare for our meetings anymore. I may do a video on that soon.
@rachelbinto Please do the video. Once Christians learn what their talking points are it's easy to counter their false doctrine. You must realize they are only parrots saying what their elders teach them. Jesus promised he would give us a mouth and wisdom which none of our adversaries would be able to resist or gainsay.
Also it is quite obvious that it would be a translator error to suggest that Jesus was the one being mentioned in the Old Testament, it would be obvious to anyone familiar with the Old Testament that Paul would not have written that the Christ was in the place of Jah, it is obvious in Paul's writings for example the very next chapter (11) verse 3 states that God (Jah) is the head of Christ in the same way that Christ is the head of man (authority over aforementioned).
@TruthSeekingOne Paul wrote that Christ was the rock that followed the Israelites. The Greek manuscripts all agree on this point that Christos is the word used in 1 Cor 10:4. This word can only mean Christ and not the Father.
The english makes perfect sense in 1 Cor 10:4 in the NWT for the fact that they translated it in the exact way you are interpreting it out of the KJV, obviously the Rock is not a literal rock is it? So it is a metaphor - and in English saying that the Rock 'means' Christ is simply showing that the Rock is being used as a metaphor - and it has the same exact meaning as the KJV except the KJV doesn't distinguish the rock from being metaphorical or not.
@TruthSeekingOne The fact is that the translators of the NWT didn't want their readers to make the connection that Jesus and Jehovah are both referred to as the Rock. (Gen 49:24; 1 Sam 2:2; 2 Sam 23:3; Is 44:8; Hab 1:12) They do this changing "rock" to "rock-mass" and "is" to "means" as it applies to Jesus.
@rachelbinto Yes and the readers of the bible SHOULDN'T make a connection of Jesus and Jehovah being the same being, they are separate and Paul makes that very clear as I gave just one example in the following chapter of this very one you are quoting from in Corinthians. Jesus and Jehovah can both be called Rocks in the same way you and your mother can both have the quality of being 'caring', this does not denote some sort of trinity.
@TruthSeekingOne Neither Paul or any trinitarian say that Jesus and Jehovah are the same person. But they both are given titles that apply exclusively to God. In combination with the fact that Jesus receives the honors that are only given to God, that he shares the throne with God the Father, that he shares divine attributes with the Father and does things only God can do, trinitarians conclude that Jesus' identity is that of being God without denying that the Father is God as well.
@rachelbinto Yes I understand what the trinity teaches, and there are actually differing opinions on how exactly the trinity works and different versions of it, the one you seem to adhere to is the more mainstream of them I suppose. Anyways, you are wrong to say Jesus 'shares' the throne with God the Father, because the throne Jesus has is separate from the throne of the Father. It is not as if they 'share' a throne, because Jesus' throne is over the Earth and it is limited to that alone...
" When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matt 28:17-20)
How many names here? What is the scope of Jesus' authority?
@rachelbinto Alright you are right then, the scriptures contradict one another then in this case and the bible is therefor invalid.
Or as it is well known, some scripture has been tampered with by trinitarians and when these were making copies they changed the words slightly in their favor, such as removing the divine name.
There is no way possible that Jesus and Jehovah can be two separate beings and still be one God, one means one, once there are more than one, it becomes two. Got it?
@TruthSeekingOne If you think the NT has been tampered with, how can you believe anything you read in there? Even though we have 5000+ early manuscript copies(a magnitude more copies than we have of any ancient literature) that do not bear the divine name, you think God was unable to preserve his word for even 70-200 years(most ancient texts are dated 1000 yrs after their original writing)? You should take a look at tetragrammaton d*o*t* org.
@rachelbinto Do a simple search, it is well known that as soon as the trinitarians started taking over, bible verses had been purposefully changed in such a slight way and possibly not even really on purpose, but as an interpretation such as the Jehovah's Witnesses have made slight changes - the ones you are complaining about. Just go ahead and do the research on this and see that I am not lying, many scholars agree - although the Bible has still been proven reliable there are a few cases.
@TruthSeekingOne I'm glad to see that you admit that the Bible is reliable. I wasn't sure what you believed. Feel free to see my other Jehovah's Witness videos and comment on those. Thanks!
@rachelbinto Is it your opinion that the KJV is the most reliable translation? I'd just like to point out that other manuscripts and translations have the word in 1 Cor 10:9 as "Lord" and not Christ, so it is also perfectly acceptable and makes more sense that since some manuscripts have Lord and some have Christ that there was a change made a very long time ago, and since we know for sure that in the Old Testament it was the Lord (YHWH) and not the Christ, I would go with the NWT over KJV.
@TruthSeekingOne In P46(just about the earliest Greek New Testament manuscript we have) has 'Christ', while later manuscripts have 'Lord(and none have 'Jehovah')'. I'd go with earlier, rather than older manuscripts. I don't believe the KJV to be the most accurate, but the NWT is quite inaccurate even when compared with the Watchtower's own Kingdom Interlinear Greek New Testament. Do you have the KIT(Kingdom Interlinear)?
@rachelbinto Newton, anti-Trinitarian theologian (I believe Arian). 1 Timothy 3:16 - corrupted. 1 John 5:7-8 - corrupted. I partake as an Arian. Jesus being a rock doesn't make Him Jehovah. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I'm not going to add interpretations on a base of Biblical bias though. That's all He claimed to be.
@rachelbinto ...Whereas the throne of Jehovah is over the universe and it lasts forever, he will never share that glory (the glory and title of Creator, basically) with anyone else [Isaiah 42:8] and Psalms 83:18 says that Jehovah ALONE is the MOST high over the Earth, this is of course the OT and afterward in the NT, he sets a Ruler (King) over the Earth to Rule alongside Him. Acts 7:55 shows Jesus 'standing' at the right hand of the Father, THEN notice what it says at 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.
@TruthSeekingOne "He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." (Dan 7:14)
@TruthSeekingOne "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb...No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him."(Rev 22:1-3)
How many thrones here? Also notice how his servants will serve 'him'...Jehovah and the Lamb in worship.
I STOP now, because I dont see respect for others. But judgements and arrogance from this so called "christian" with the nick > knightforChrist. BYE BYE
@queruvimwj I want you to come to the Truth. I love all people and I am only doing what my Lord asks me to do. I exalt Jesus Christ as my Lord. I have a relationship, not a religion. Is it so bad that I try to open your eyes. My mother and law said I was arrogant when she ran out of excuses. Please, ask Jesus to come into your heart. He is the only way. You cannot "know" enough, or do enough to earn your way into Jehovah's favor. Christ did it ALL for us. So I beg you, receive Christ as Lord.
@knightforChrist1 Your words are misleading. In practice JWs not only "know" by studing the scriptures, they are respected for their strong adherence to Bible principles. The opposite happens in the churches of the Christendom you are part of. You pretend to be what you cannot. Lies and accusations in a form of advices. Repent yourself from such behavior.
@queruvimwj You say JWs are respected for "strong adherence to Bible principles." Respected by who? There aren't any respectable scholars out there that agree with your distorted "bible". I haven't lied to you once. Open your eyes to the deceit of the Watchtower. You only study what they tell you and if you disagree, they shun you. That is a cult, not a Christian attitude. I disagree with some of my Christian brothers on many topics, none of which is essential doctrine for salvation.
@queruvimwj The essential doctrine for salvation is what we do agree on, and it has nothing to do with the "kingdom" that you speak of. Our doctrine is the same preached by Paul, I Corinthians 15. Of which your Watchtower denies the physical resurrection. You say Jesus was only raised spiritually, and God hid his mortal body. That is a lie.
Did Jesus lie?
I'll answer for you. NO!!! He said, destroy this temple, and I will raise it up again. Only God can raise the dead.
@queruvimwj This is fun. What else can you try to throw my way? I know all of your pitches. If anyone really knows their Bible, they can't possibly believe Watchtower doctrine. The Holy Spirit teaches us and leads us in all the things Jesus spoke of, not a man-made organization. I trust in the Lord, Jesus the Christ, .
@queruvimwj Please read your pamphlet, "Should You Believe In the Trinity". On page 7, there are many lies about the early Church fathers. Not that I am putting my trust in them, but the Watchtower lies repeatedly about what they believed and said. That's why the Watchtower gives no references to where they quoted from. If you read the original manuscripts for yourself, you will find this to be true. I would love to go into more detail, but you wouldn't believe it anyway, would you?
@queruvimwj The important thing is, if just one JW reads what I have said, and investigates this for themselves, and sees the lies that the Watchtower spews, then maybe they have a chance for Real Salvation; which is by Grace, through Faith, in Jesus Christ Alone. Galatians 2: 20-21; Philippians 3: 8-21.
Great presentation. I also have a video on 1Cor 10:9. Whether Paul originally wrote "Christ" or "Lord", it doesn't matter, it is still the Son he is referring to. Especially because he consistently refers to Jesus as "Lord" and as the "one Lord" and basically never calls the Father "Lord".
meant the Christ does not say jesus is jehovah, the people were bitten by the serpents and when they looked at the copper serpent then they livedm the same way you put faith in the ransom sacrifice of jesus means the same,
Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah YOUR God you must worship, and it is to HIM (NOT ME) alone you must render sacred service.’” Then the Devil left him
One day Jesus will be worshipped... by angels, by people of all nations, and by every living being as he sits on the throne he and his Father share. (Heb 1:6; Dan 7:13-14; Phil 2:10-11; Heb 1:8; Rev 5:12-13; Rev 22:1-3) You can join the chorus willingly now, or unwillingly later---the choice is yours.
@judgerutherford , you did not answer Rachel rebuttal. Rachel just proved Jesus is Jehovah in the NWT. To answer your response, when Jesus told the devil, Worship God, he didn't use Jehovah since it's a false rendition. Jesus said to the devil worship God. Jesus was referring to himself. How? Jesus speaks in 3rd person, example "What do ye think of the Christ?" "Upon this Rock I will build my church." Again referring to himself. He took the bread and bless it and said take eat this is my body.
When Jesus blessed the bread and his blood, it was all about himself and not the Father. How do you bless food and give all the credit to yourself? Unless Jesus is God.
Did jesus talk to himself on the stake when he said FATHER FORGIVE THEM
and if jesus is god then this scripture is wrong Habakkuk 1:12 where it says Art thou not from everlasting, Jehovah my God, my Holy One? you do not die, if jesus was god and god cannot die, so jesus was not god but he is the SON of god, not her father and the son in the same person, how silly can you be thinking jesus is god, jehovah is the father of jesus christ its very simple to see
accoring to the word of JEHOVAH GOD jesus is the son of jehovah, of you want to make an issue out of that then, jesus is not YHWH, Jesus said to satan IT IS WRITTEN, where was it written, in the OT thats where, and there is says YHWH, So jesus said to satan you should worship YHWH YOUR GOD,did you notice that, jesus did not say you should worship me but satan should worship his god,and who is that, well its not jesus but YHWH jesus never claimed to be YHWH, he is the SON of YHWH
@queruvimwj Did you forget about John 8: 24? I'm not judging you, Christ is. If you don't know who HE is, you will DIE in your sins. You could say you're judging yourself. Next question.....?
@judgerutherford The same sacred service that Jesus says must be rendered to God alone, is rendered to the Son of Man in Daniel 7:13-14 according to the Septuagint. Jesus is the Son of Man described in Daniel 7:13-14 and people of all nations will serve him with the sacred service that is limited to God alone. Either Jesus is God, or the Father has commanded idolatry.
If you had the slightest understanding of the "Trinity", then you would know that none of this proves it false. The Trinity is the clear doctrine in the Bible that indicates 3 separate personalities within a SINGLE Godhead. There are not 3 gods, only ONE GOD; existing in 3 distinct personalities. The Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father; yet there is but ONE GOD. Believe it. God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Sovereign!
just because its the oldest manuscript, doesnt mean its the most accurate. biblebelievers. net/Bible Versions /kjckjv1s .htm You have to type it in your browser. I strongly urge anyone to read this. Then make your decision.
They keep separate from the ungodly world as did Noah and many other prophets in the bible. READ John 17:14. Jehovah's Witnesses follow EXACTLY THE BIBLE. They do serve Christ our Lord. Matthew 4:17 is when Jesus started preaching. He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew chapter 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdom will be preached..."
Jesus told his disciples to make disciples at Matt: 28:19,20,"... make disciples..."
Deuteronomy 5: 15 is also another lie of the New World Translation, stating a false reason for Sabbath observance, replacing "therefore" with "that is why", to give the wrong meaning to what is being said in the passage.
None of these 'anonymous' fake losers who pretended to be 'translators' knew ANTYHING about any ancient language or what a translation is so what's the point in discussing the issue which have never happened -because there wasn;t any translation and NWT is neither a Bible nor translation
Poor and superficial analysis. The New Testament in Modern Speech by R.F.Weymouth(2nd edition of 1903) in a footnote to Matthew 26:26 says: "Is my body] Or 'signifies,' 'represents,' 'symbolizes my body.' In many places both in the O.T. and the N.T. the verb 'is' or 'are,' expressed or(as here)understood, may thus be rendered."
@rachelbinto Why do you do the same? huu do you just what to see the best? you she could be new. don't bash her. encourage her! You know the time is near When you com across proud boasters!!! Hay but you could repent of that and help her out if you know more.
@queruvimwj Let me see you do better The new world translation is a false Bible. And she puts out some great notes that i can try to use on Jehovah witnesses next store. you only bash her because you know shes right.
there is only one true bible and that is the K.J.V. 1611 Not the NEW king james. And i have my reasons for that.
@queruvimwj you wouldn't know the Greek if it cracked you in the face. TAke a look at the word "hice" in the Greek. It signifies the ONENESS of God. Not in "union" with. Take a look at your own literature; Your KIT 1973 edition. Union is not in the Greek. God is ONE. "Let us make man in our image." Read Isaiah Chapters 40-45. "Jehovah"(which by the way is NOT HIS NAME). God says He made the worlds BY HIMSELF.
@knightforChrist1 God is one. Well said. NOT three. Your opinion about my understand of Greek is just your opinion. The use of the terms, "alone", "who was with me" and "by myself" does not necessarily mean what you would like it to mean, especially where a king is concerned: Look at Daniel 4:30 and Isaiah 63:3. Daniel 4:30 has been translated in the following ways: "The king reflected and said, 'Is this not Babylon the great, which I myself have built." NASV.
2 Corinthians 4:4, "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." Satan here is a "god". Michael then could also be called a god, since it is only being used as a title. Michael resides in heaven with God as his "right hand man" or "son".
flamesRules 13 hours ago
@flamesRules There is only one true God who is powerful and created all things. Any other "gods" are false and we should not go after them. Jesus and the Father are two separate beings, but both are said to have created ALL things. They share the same nature; that of being God. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus and not Michael the archangel. Also, if John 1:1 says "a god", then John 1:6,12,13,18,23 should read "a god" as well because of no definite article.
rachelbinto 6 hours ago
Michael is Gods archangel, meaning that he is the chief of the angels in heaven. (Jude 1:9, Daniel 12:1) This leads me to believe that Jesus is the same person as Michael. Now if Jesus is Michael then this scripture (John 1:1) would make more sense. Oh, and real quick Michael translated means " he who is like God". Now this is where to definition comes into play. Michael could be called a god. Much like Satan could be called a god in which his domain is Earth.
flamesRules 13 hours ago
In Luke 1:31-33 it says,"And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Here it states that Jesus is to be known as the "Son of the Highest".
flamesRules 14 hours ago
Now with that being said lets pick apart that scripture. In the beginning the Word was, meaning that it was a god. The Word was WITH God, this is stating that they are two separate beings. And the Word was a god. Then it restates that it is a god. CAPITALIZATION IS, and I cannot stress this enough EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN THIS SCRIPTURE! Notice when is says "with God", God is capitalized, meaning that God is a being. Then in the next part it says "the Word was a god". God here is a title.
flamesRules 14 hours ago
Now the definition of god is
1. a supernatural being, who is worshipped as the controller of some part of the universe or some aspect of life in the world or is the personification of some force
2. an image, idol, or symbolic representation of such a deity
3. any person or thing to which excessive attention is given: money was his god
flamesRules 14 hours ago
John 1:1 This scripture can be understood in so many different way. It is often misconstrued.
John 1:1 says, " In the beginning the Word was and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god."
flamesRules 14 hours ago
As an cultural anthropologist I have one view of scripture and that is each translation is created by men & in all such work men have agendas. It is very difficult to translate the Greek as they did not use punctuation and offer few conjunctions in verse.
There is but ONE God as I see it.. My lady is a JW of many years & a good Christian. I'm not a JW but support her. I am a Christian Who does use Jehovah's name in prayer, but I don't make others bend to my thoughts. I copy Jesus & have faith.

So you have to ask yourself the question Rachel,
If "christ" is the accurate word used in 1Cor10:9 found in the KJV then why does the ASV, NASB, ISV, GWT, ERV, WEB, NIV and so many other bibles disagree with that and use the word "Lord" at 1Cor10:9? You failed to share that with us! You made it sound like the JW's are the only ones who don't translate it as "christ". Do all these scholars really think that the Greek word christos means lord? I don't think so..... Shame on you......
LodiBryan 1 month ago
@LodiBryan The point is in the Watchtower's Kingdom Interlinear Translation they show "Lord" in the Greek, but translate it "Jehovah". As the footnote in the KIT shows, some manuscripts have "Christ", or "God". There is a good video with interesting comments regarding this verse at : watch?v=wXeXVT9VAHc
rachelbinto 1 month ago
@LodiBryan Wow you COMPLETE missed the WHOLE point of this video. Maybe stop to think before you post your complete ignorance and make yourself look like a fool. The point is your NWTS is the ONLY bible that uses "JEHOVAH" in that verse when most other bibles use Lord or Christ.
jojoneli76 1 month ago
LodiBryan 4 weeks ago
@LodiBryan The Greek uses the word Lord to refer to Jesus and Jehovah. Some early manuscripts have Christ in 1 Cor 10:9. There are many instances in the NT, where Lord is used to refer to Jesus when it refers to an OT quote or event that refers to Jehovah.
rachelbinto 4 weeks ago
@LodiBryan Actually "fool" is in the bible many times. Jesus even said it so YES it is Christ like. Read a real bible. With everything else you said, in the end it doesn't matter because your failed prophesies and fake bible prove that you are false prophets and not coming from God.
jojoneli76 4 weeks ago
@jojoneli76 If you consider me your enemy, you should still love me as you love yourself instead of calling me names. I'm christian and truth seeker and not affiliated with any church. The bible that I carry is the NIV of 1984 though it is not perfect, as ALL English translated bibles have their problems, I think it's pretty good. However, if there is a discrepancy I go online & view the Codex Sinaiticus for truth. By the way it is not a fake, it is the ancestor of every bible we have today.
LodiBryan 4 weeks ago
LodiBryan 1 month ago
These findings are false. The truth is found in reading the oldest canonized Greek scripts, the Codex Sinaiticus which uses the word "Lord" at 1Cor10:9. The C.S. dates back to the fourth century. codexsinaiticusdotorg
Viewing the Codex Sinaiticus we find the nomina sacra letters KV, denoted for kurios(lord), opposed to the letters XC which denote Christ. These scripts which r over 1700 yrs old tell us the correct word at 1Cor10:9 is "LORD", anything else is a distortion of the truth

TrinityEqualsHell 1 month ago
@hammerogod RE:Isaiah 9:6, everlasting father? Is it correct to say the son is the everlasting father? That is what Mormons teach.
We have one spiritual father.
According to the trinity doctrine, the son can't be the father.
LodiBryan 4 weeks ago
@LodiBryan
Isaiah says "Mighty God, Everlasting Father"
What that does to the "Trinity Doctrine" doesn't matter a bit to me..
The Trinity is a construct, man-made to explain something that we don't have the ability to grasp.
People tend to want to put God inside of His creation.
He doesn't fit.
Jesus was made Flesh so God could be present "Inside" of His Creation as well as "Outside"
Jesus IS God.
John 1:1 and 2 Peter 1:1 state it clearly
2 Peter 1:1 leaves no doubt, unless you want doubt.
hammerogod 4 weeks ago

@808BoxingSouljahz Because Jesus was full man, full God. These words were spoken by him as a man. NO it simply means KNOWING God and having a personal relationship with him.
jojoneli76 1 month ago

Jesus is not equal to his father Jehovah. Jesus was created. Obviously, then, he had a beginning, whereas Jehovah God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotten Son never even considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the Son. (John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 11:3) Jehovah alone is “God Almighty.” (Gen 17:1,Psalms 83:18) Therefore, he has no equal.
808BoxingSouljahz 2 months ago
@808BoxingSouljahz There is only one true and powerful God. Any other so-called-gods are imposters that people worship instead of the One who created them. He is the mighty God and sustainer of the universe. The Father is this God and so is Jesus.(Col 1:17; Rom 11:36; Heb 2:10; 1 Cor 8:6)

Why is it so hard for people to understand. That Jesus and Jehovah share a father and son relationship.Tthat's why the Bible use the term "Father & Son"
808BoxingSouljahz 2 months ago
@808BoxingSouljahz The Bible was not written in modern times, so we have to understand what is written there from the perspective of that time. Sonship and firstborn are terms denoting inheritance and pre-eminence in Biblical times. The Bible clearly calls David and others firstborn, who are not literally the eldest or first born. Jesus is never called the first creation(protoktisis), because not one thing has been made without him. "Not one thing", means exactly that:)

808BoxingSouljahz 2 months ago
As the firstborn Son of all Creation, Jesus is unique among all of God's sons, in that he was the first and only creature directly created by Jehovah. All [others] were created through the Son. That is why, in fact, that Jesus is called the only-begotten Son of God. Jesus is also the first creature raised from the dead to immortality. That's why the Bible calls him the "firstborn from the dead."...(CONT')
808BoxingSouljahz 2 months ago
At Col 1:18, Paul said of Christ: "He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things." The next verse goes on to show that it pleased God to make his son first in all things. Jesus is "last" in the sense that he will never be surpassed in glory by any fellow creature. He will always be the closest to Jehovah.

808BoxingSouljahz 2 months ago
@808BoxingSouljahz Yeah, Jesus and the Father are distinct persons who share the attributes, honors and deeds that belong only to God. Jesus created all things; not ONE thing that has been made was made without Jesus.(John 1:3) ALL things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; ALL things have been created through him and for him.(Col 1:16) Jesus is the first and the last. The Father is the first and the last.

Nice job Rachel, I've used the NWT old testament to prove Jesus is God (I and the Father are one) but had never seen this particular verse in the NT. I'd say the local Kingdom Hall has put out a 'don't visit' advisory on you.
mwilson70201 2 months ago
@mwilson70201 Thanks. This summer I had a JW regularly coming to my house for a Bible study---she came about 7 times. We did a study on the Bible using the Bible alone reading whole passages of scripture in context. Eventually she wanted to discuss whether the NWT was a good translation. We used the Kingdom Interlinear version and compared it to the NWT and then she said that she didn't have time to prepare for our meetings anymore. I may do a video on that soon.
rachelbinto 2 months ago
@rachelbinto Please do the video. Once Christians learn what their talking points are it's easy to counter their false doctrine. You must realize they are only parrots saying what their elders teach them. Jesus promised he would give us a mouth and wisdom which none of our adversaries would be able to resist or gainsay.
mwilson70201 2 months ago
Also it is quite obvious that it would be a translator error to suggest that Jesus was the one being mentioned in the Old Testament, it would be obvious to anyone familiar with the Old Testament that Paul would not have written that the Christ was in the place of Jah, it is obvious in Paul's writings for example the very next chapter (11) verse 3 states that God (Jah) is the head of Christ in the same way that Christ is the head of man (authority over aforementioned).
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne Paul wrote that Christ was the rock that followed the Israelites. The Greek manuscripts all agree on this point that Christos is the word used in 1 Cor 10:4. This word can only mean Christ and not the Father.
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto In which scripture does Paul say the Christ is the rock that 'followed the Israelites'?
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne 1 Cor 10:4; it's in the video...did you watch it?
rachelbinto 5 months ago
The english makes perfect sense in 1 Cor 10:4 in the NWT for the fact that they translated it in the exact way you are interpreting it out of the KJV, obviously the Rock is not a literal rock is it? So it is a metaphor - and in English saying that the Rock 'means' Christ is simply showing that the Rock is being used as a metaphor - and it has the same exact meaning as the KJV except the KJV doesn't distinguish the rock from being metaphorical or not.
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne The fact is that the translators of the NWT didn't want their readers to make the connection that Jesus and Jehovah are both referred to as the Rock. (Gen 49:24; 1 Sam 2:2; 2 Sam 23:3; Is 44:8; Hab 1:12) They do this changing "rock" to "rock-mass" and "is" to "means" as it applies to Jesus.
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Yes and the readers of the bible SHOULDN'T make a connection of Jesus and Jehovah being the same being, they are separate and Paul makes that very clear as I gave just one example in the following chapter of this very one you are quoting from in Corinthians. Jesus and Jehovah can both be called Rocks in the same way you and your mother can both have the quality of being 'caring', this does not denote some sort of trinity.
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne Neither Paul or any trinitarian say that Jesus and Jehovah are the same person. But they both are given titles that apply exclusively to God. In combination with the fact that Jesus receives the honors that are only given to God, that he shares the throne with God the Father, that he shares divine attributes with the Father and does things only God can do, trinitarians conclude that Jesus' identity is that of being God without denying that the Father is God as well.
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Yes I understand what the trinity teaches, and there are actually differing opinions on how exactly the trinity works and different versions of it, the one you seem to adhere to is the more mainstream of them I suppose. Anyways, you are wrong to say Jesus 'shares' the throne with God the Father, because the throne Jesus has is separate from the throne of the Father. It is not as if they 'share' a throne, because Jesus' throne is over the Earth and it is limited to that alone...
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
" When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matt 28:17-20)
How many names here? What is the scope of Jesus' authority?
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Alright you are right then, the scriptures contradict one another then in this case and the bible is therefor invalid.
Or as it is well known, some scripture has been tampered with by trinitarians and when these were making copies they changed the words slightly in their favor, such as removing the divine name.
There is no way possible that Jesus and Jehovah can be two separate beings and still be one God, one means one, once there are more than one, it becomes two. Got it?
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne If you think the NT has been tampered with, how can you believe anything you read in there? Even though we have 5000+ early manuscript copies(a magnitude more copies than we have of any ancient literature) that do not bear the divine name, you think God was unable to preserve his word for even 70-200 years(most ancient texts are dated 1000 yrs after their original writing)? You should take a look at tetragrammaton d*o*t* org.
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Do a simple search, it is well known that as soon as the trinitarians started taking over, bible verses had been purposefully changed in such a slight way and possibly not even really on purpose, but as an interpretation such as the Jehovah's Witnesses have made slight changes - the ones you are complaining about. Just go ahead and do the research on this and see that I am not lying, many scholars agree - although the Bible has still been proven reliable there are a few cases.
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne I'm glad to see that you admit that the Bible is reliable. I wasn't sure what you believed. Feel free to see my other Jehovah's Witness videos and comment on those. Thanks!
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Is it your opinion that the KJV is the most reliable translation? I'd just like to point out that other manuscripts and translations have the word in 1 Cor 10:9 as "Lord" and not Christ, so it is also perfectly acceptable and makes more sense that since some manuscripts have Lord and some have Christ that there was a change made a very long time ago, and since we know for sure that in the Old Testament it was the Lord (YHWH) and not the Christ, I would go with the NWT over KJV.
TruthSeekingOne 5 months ago
@TruthSeekingOne In P46(just about the earliest Greek New Testament manuscript we have) has 'Christ', while later manuscripts have 'Lord(and none have 'Jehovah')'. I'd go with earlier, rather than older manuscripts. I don't believe the KJV to be the most accurate, but the NWT is quite inaccurate even when compared with the Watchtower's own Kingdom Interlinear Greek New Testament. Do you have the KIT(Kingdom Interlinear)?
rachelbinto 5 months ago
@rachelbinto Newton, anti-Trinitarian theologian (I believe Arian). 1 Timothy 3:16 - corrupted. 1 John 5:7-8 - corrupted. I partake as an Arian. Jesus being a rock doesn't make Him Jehovah. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I'm not going to add interpretations on a base of Biblical bias though. That's all He claimed to be.
Danielezerable 5 months ago

You cannot "know" enough, or do enough to earn your way into Jehovah's favor. Christ did it ALL for us. So I beg you, receive Christ as Lord.
knightforChrist1 5 months ago
@knightforChrist1 Your words are misleading. In practice JWs not only "know" by studing the scriptures, they are respected for their strong adherence to Bible principles. The opposite happens in the churches of the Christendom you are part of. You pretend to be what you cannot. Lies and accusations in a form of advices. Repent yourself from such behavior.
queruvimwj 5 months ago
@queruvimwj You say JWs are respected for "strong adherence to Bible principles." Respected by who? There aren't any respectable scholars out there that agree with your distorted "bible". I haven't lied to you once. Open your eyes to the deceit of the Watchtower. You only study what they tell you and if you disagree, they shun you. That is a cult, not a Christian attitude. I disagree with some of my Christian brothers on many topics, none of which is essential doctrine for salvation.
knightforChrist1 5 months ago
@queruvimwj The essential doctrine for salvation is what we do agree on, and it has nothing to do with the "kingdom" that you speak of. Our doctrine is the same preached by Paul, I Corinthians 15. Of which your Watchtower denies the physical resurrection. You say Jesus was only raised spiritually, and God hid his mortal body. That is a lie.
Did Jesus lie?
I'll answer for you. NO!!! He said, destroy this temple, and I will raise it up again. Only God can raise the dead.
knightforChrist1 5 months ago
@queruvimwj This is fun. What else can you try to throw my way? I know all of your pitches. If anyone really knows their Bible, they can't possibly believe Watchtower doctrine. The Holy Spirit teaches us and leads us in all the things Jesus spoke of, not a man-made organization. I trust in the Lord, Jesus the Christ, .
knightforChrist1 5 months ago
@queruvimwj Please read your pamphlet, "Should You Believe In the Trinity". On page 7, there are many lies about the early Church fathers. Not that I am putting my trust in them, but the Watchtower lies repeatedly about what they believed and said. That's why the Watchtower gives no references to where they quoted from. If you read the original manuscripts for yourself, you will find this to be true. I would love to go into more detail, but you wouldn't believe it anyway, would you?
knightforChrist1 5 months ago
@queruvimwj The important thing is, if just one JW reads what I have said, and investigates this for themselves, and sees the lies that the Watchtower spews, then maybe they have a chance for Real Salvation; which is by Grace, through Faith, in Jesus Christ Alone. Galatians 2: 20-21; Philippians 3: 8-21.

He took the bread and bless it and said take eat this is my body.
