I always ALWAYS lose close-mid range DMR standoffs. It always seems like the other person always shoots faster and lands ALL their shots. Ive always been told that you should wait until the bloom fully resets until you shoot. Is this true or is that too slow especially in regular slayer not TU.

@Lisztomania333 The Ogre Twitch. I guess it originated in Halo 1. The reticule would strangely slip below the center of your screen at times. Making those little loops would reset it, keeping it in the middle where it should have been. The Ogres continued to use it, even in Reach, and other players did it. It doesn't really help anything tangibly, but I think it keeps you in tune with your look sensitivity, and keeps your hands active when nothing's going on in-game at the moment.

It's not just from Halo, a lot of people have been doing it a lot longer. It's not some "official" specialized movement that's designed to help your aiming, only to stop your hand from going numb. Which it hardly does anyway, but over the years it just becomes second nature.
