  • outrages make up

  • Split Enz whether the early period stuff or the later material was always amazing.

  • fantastic song, one of my enz favourites :)

  • Free Phil Judd !!!!

  • i LOVE maybe.

it was their first release in australia when they came here in 1975. it was one of the few songs of theirs that didn't do very well. cant' for the life of me figure out why. it's one BRILLIANT piece of songwriting

  • Incredible music...very original New Zealand music...years ahead of their time really...still sounds great even today.

  • 2:45 reminds me of beatle music and michael palin expression

  • 2:45 reminds me of beatles

  • I ADORE this song("Maybe") but-IMHO-the best video of it is the B&W stage performance in which the camera focuses on exactly WHO is singing lead at each point in the song. When you watch THAT version you can clearly seen it's PHIL who sings the primary lead on this song, not Tim.

  • @Babyhowdy233 TAKE YOUR TOUNGE OUT OF HIS ARSE

  • Everything they did through Dizrythmia was absolute magic. I was so sorry when they went 'New Wave.' I saw them in 1976 at a club in California that was about the size of my living room.

  • cervellodue,

I agree with you 100! Everthing they did during their Phil Judd period was absolute MAGIC! Their sound changed radically after Phil left.

  • Can't beleive that the CD's are out of print again and they cost $40 to import. Glad I paid $5.99 for each just a few years ago.

  • I got the 1st Enz CD, Mental Notes, from Amazon for $20. Being that I'm 26, and from America, I grew up with Crowded House. The Enz is better

  • Enz is definitely better. You may want to look up Phil Judd. He's been producing more music in recent years. He was the distinctive character in old Split Enz' music.

  • I will. Thanx! Was he responsible for the loony vocals? Or was it Tim Finn?

  • split enz and judd......genius

  • now where was i? (before i was so rudely interrupted by crap)....oh yes, heard the enz in 1975 when i was 14. it was this song, their first since coming to oz from nz.

an all time favourite of mine it mixes the happy with the sad like my other favourite of theirs; 'pioneer' from 'time and tide'.

they manage to have a song that's happy and sad at the same time in both cases.

    a brilliant band.

i was sad when they lost the makeup and the cute haircuts and antics.

  • this thing woeking?????

bloody youtube just took me away from the site, made me enter a confirmation of my email address (why isn't getting me to log in good enough FFS!!!!) then takes me AWAY from this clip.

    well done.

if this goes through i'll add a proper comment.

wish youtube would get their act together.

  • I love Maybe, it is at the moment one of my fav enz songs!

    Thanks for this vid!

    LOVELY

  • What an amazing song. Tim Finn & his crazy friends were nothing short of genius...

  • Priceless. One of favorite groups of all time.

  • That bit where they're all dancing together at the end is pricelss! Thanks for posting :D

  • Brilliant, one of their greatest songs

  • Excellent !! Thanks for sharing !!!
