I tried 252 speed/sp ATK EV's in DeSmuMe and it didn't work....I marked the thing, exited the box & entered cheat and trained up and nothing. I had to turn the cheat off after exiting the box because it kept freezing, but I figured once the EV's were assigned they would stick?

it took me 6 hours to find one and then when i was going to lower its hp i got in a critical hit and took it down hade to look for it again and never found it even tho i was in that darn forest for 5 more hours.

so i used a cheat code and lost the stone to evolv the monkey.

the problem was my emulator.

im using the emulator DesMume and i have some problems with the cheat code's it dont vade them evry time so i have to put in the code about 3-5 time's befor i can use the code.

thats why i dident get the stone's.

@DrengenDk which emulator are you using? You set the controls by using the Button Config, and set a key for the button as it would be on the DS. So if you set L as Q, A as A and Select as X, then it would you would have to press Q+A & X. Hope this helps.

Y'all need to do your research, rare candies don't give you EVs (Effort Values) which actually raise your stats. So, my level 50 EV trained Dragonite would be a lot stronger than a rare candied level 50 Dragonite.

@gordantong First, use the (M) code. Then you'll put in the exp code of your choice. When that is done, you just got to finish a battle with a pokémon. You should get it then.. I am trying this now.. I will write if it didn't work.

rare candies are worthless. If you use rare candies to lvl up your pokemons they will be useless compared to other pokemons since you wont gain as much stats

@DsHokage3D you can alway use MAX IV/EV codes to boost them up. I alway catch my pokemons on Black and White at lvl 100 and use these code to make them have MAX EV (255) and MAX IV (31) for all stats.

@ghostrider2231 With that I must disagree. They don't give all of the stat bonuses of manually leveling up. I once beat an entirely lvl. 100 Pokemon team with my lvl. 80-ish team. They had the same health and my Pokemon had higher stats.
