  • Judy Garland is absolutely gorgeous<3 And definitely one of the best actresses ever. I love her!

  • I wonder what it feels like to be the "1" idiot who dislikes this.....they probably never had a tootsie-wootsie to dance the hoochie-coochie with....poor soul....

  • @whoadude1959 or maybe it's their father... xD

  • ok i know who judy garland is but that girl that plays her sister is that the good witch from the wizrd of oz?

  • @halkyron no, rose, her sister is played by lucille bremer. the good witch in the wizard of oz, glinda, is played by billie burke. i'm a HUGE fan of judy garland, particularly the wizard of oz. my family is from the same town that judy was born in. i named my puppy billie after glinda. :)

  • the movie is based on a true story as told by Tudy played by Margret OBrien in the film.

  • My favorite feel good movie--I want to go to St. Louis!! The city better have saved the house at 1535 Kensington Ave. Thanks Judy--

  • LOVE JUDY!!!

  • I love this movie and Judy and the all of the cast. I am a Fred Astaire fan, and I was surprised when I saw Lucille Bremer, who is playing the piano in this scene, dancing with Fred in the Ziegfeld Follies movie. What a beautiful dance. She was exceptional, because I didn't know she was a trained dancer. In this movie, Judy introduces 3 songs, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "The Trolley Song", and "The Boy Next Door." I am not sure if she introduced "Meet Me In St Louis".

  • @meinnameistbach Meet Me in St. Louis was written in 1904 to coincide with the St. Louis World's Fair. It was just repeated in this movie.

  • Rose needs to stick to the piano... ahem... lol

  • i want the theatre guild to do this one :) and I want to play Esther :)

btw is is Hester or Esther? I couldn't tell in the movie ...

  • @TheGoodChild12 It's Esther

  • I wish I was born in these times :'(

  • @kissmefool789 you and me both! life just seemed more happier, families closer... ya know?

  • I almost do, then I realize i'm black and how bad that would actually suck!

  • @kissmefool789 Dont!!! You'd be a stiff by now!!

  • @jstranger5 A stiff? O.o

  • @kissmefool789 A stiff means a dead body.

  • My inner musician is furious that this song doesn't resolve at the end.

  • I am only 16, but I love this movie! :)

  • The film quality in the movie was pretty amazing compared to movies of it's time. The plot, music, and acting in this movie are excellent

  • I share papa's sentiments.

  • love love love this film but cant find it!

  • @kipperkippy You can find it in parts on youtube if you just type in "Meet Me in St. Louis Part 1", etc.

  • @TinaB1990 I did this and I STILL can't find it can anyone upload a video response with part 1? :/

  • @pianoluvr100 It's strange; I know that I watched it on youtube over the summer..but now I can't find it either. I guess they must've taken it down or something. Sorry :(.

  • @TinaB1990 Aww! I keep seeing the little clips like some of the songs she sings but I REALLY wanted to see ALL of it, and I can't find it at the library either! I guess i'll look at the library again though, because it has been a pretty long time...lolrofl

  • I notice : nobody left a comment on how amazing the other chick was; only judy

  • @TVBProductions Judy Garland is amazing... but so is Lucille Bremer :-D . Rose is one of my favorite characters. "Do that little thing."

  • ha! i heard this on veggie tales and had to look it up!

  • I really don't think there has ever been any one as talented as Judy. It's such a cliche thing to say, but she was definitely a one of a kind.

  • I was amazed when i saw this movie, amazing quality, looks like it was made 10 years ago, not 1944!

  • I love this movie so much and this song is my favorite to listen to after the Trolley Song, but everytime when Lucille Bremer comes in, her voice always reminds of the munchkins from munchkin land x]

  • I love this song

  • I used to sing, "That coach of the St. Louis Rams, his name is Mike Martz. Mike is strongly vaunted for his great offensive smarts."

  • I've had this song stuck in my head for days. I don't think watching it has remedied it. It's probably made it worse. lol :) Thanks for posting.

  • I want their over-coat thinkgs...

  • Hi guys! This video is awesome..the voices are letter perfect, how did you do it?? Looking for more of Judy and Liza..congratulations on a job well done! Brad from NC

  • I'm 14 and this is my all time favourite film as all my memories of my grandma are watching this at her house and her humming this tune and dancing around the kitchen! Thank you very much for this video! x

  • @Montie246 it is great that somebody else that is in their teens likes this movie, I loved this movie when I saw it for the first time when i was 13 and now I am 28 years old and still love this, I am hoping to interduce it to my children when they get old enough to understand the greatness of the older movies=)
