The Monitor part is so you can set the software to send video to your cellphone when you are out of the house. It watches your home and you can see if some-one breaks in and you can call the cops

@Limons08 if you read the nfo file (open it up with word) there will be a section where it will tell you it is retail so you dont need a activision
