I agree with Terry Wogan - far too good a song for Eurovision, it never stood a chance! I remember 1998 as the year of the famous Guildo Horn appearance.

It's a crime this song didn't win. Just like it's a crime Netherlands didn't win in 1993 and 1999. Boy, they were robbed in the nineties.

This was one helluva eurovision. Those were the days when they had a live orchestra playing along. And the interval act was fantastic too.
I remember Malta being a great song too.. Must check that out too.
