GT sounds great. I really do enjoy the Zs and GTs. My buddy had a 2006(i think) Nismo 350Z and when I got my '02 GT we couldn't stop modding and racing eachother. But then he blew his clutch and tranny and sold the car.. Haha.
I own both. Stock for stock they're close, but the GT responds better to mods. My Bullitt is running 12.5's with basic bolt-ons, but I can't do that with the 350Z.

@jabba12000 HR Z should beat Mustang gts... The DE Z will be driver race for the 99-04 Mustang gt and the 05+ should edge out a little ahead. Now Mach 1s..... Completely different story... Z should be seeing the Machs lights all day.

And i raced a older 4.6 mustang from a 40 roll twice and spanked it. Either way it was too slow so i had to trade it for a modded 300zx . Now i wanna sell that and get an HR 350z.

the Z was slow untill 2007 then it would beat the mustang GT. 05GT against 07z , it would be more like a drivers race but the Z has the advantage of winning because the 07z made just over 300HP

that is a very very odd outcome i have a Z mysleft with just a cold air intake and im owning the shit out of my friend with a gt he has x pipes as well with a short ram intake..(not to mention v8s do get a lot more power out of strait piping than any jdm car) good run but the outcome of it is just not right when i know what a Z can pull....

you 350z owners need to get the sand outta ur vagina's. the mustang has an x pipe and intake..woo that gives it 10 hp at the max. our 2v's ( as seen beating the Z in the vid) have the worst fflowing heads ever. so yea you just got beat by a stock stang pretty much
not supercar status but if 0-60 in under 6 seconds, quarter mile in around 14, and top speed of 150 plus mph, id say it's fast enough. and they are relatively easy to mod.

@tylerxfire x pipe, flowmaster and intake is only good for 230-240 wheel horsepower in the Stang... 2v 4.6's arent as responsive to boltons as one would think.... If anything tho arent the 350Z's 285-300hp @ the crank depending on the model? The 99-04 GT was only 260hp @ the crank and weighed around 3300lbs-3400lbs.
