idiotic?!...badminton is one of the most skillful and technical sports in the world the amount of trick shots and the control it takes to master just the slightest twist of your arm to the right position is obviously something you wouldn't understand, not to mention it is the fastest racquet sport, if a shuttle hits you in the eye you can actually go blind....you'd want to have your wits about you playing this sport, so to call it idiotic is clearly an idiotic thing to do!!

yes i said "you can go blind" not "you will go blind" there is a difference...i was stating a possible danger of the sport, and obviously if you and the people you play with are only beginners then you aren't going to be able to hit the shuttle as hard as a professional so there's less risk involved the lower down you are in terms of ability...and i've been hit in the eye with a racquet and i'm not blind and i'm fine now too but there could have been a possiblity i'd have gone blind!
