Glad you didn't stop! lol One of the more overlooked annoying things about SUV's is when you're next to one at a stop sign, you're trying to turn right and they're trying to turn left (or vice versa), and they get so far up that you can't see around them to see if you can go! Of course I guess you just go when they do, but still.
I know exactly what you are talking about here bro. I was thinking the exact same thing about not being able to see around when one is on the left of you and you are trying to make a right hand turn. Can't see around the damn thing.
SUVs disgust me, always have. They are a totally unnecessary vehicle. Aside from all the points you mentioned, half the ppl driving them don't know how to handle such a large vehicle. When I'm driving home at night in a blizzard where conditions dictate 20mph, all the SUVs are doing 50 or more! They are a fucking menace to society and a waste of resources. I am an American & proud of it, but most of us are stupid, materialistic pigs!
I'm in northern Jersey and people are still driving their friggin monster SUVs - but see a lot less Hummers - so hopefully in time they will stop here too. Good rant.
Good rant and I agree 100%. Wish South Koreans would get the point, but then gas prices haven't risen that high here yet. I've definitely noticed the difference, but do to the culture here some will never give up there gas guzzlers. Many are produced to run on natural gas, regardless, which is much cheaper.
I never feel safe on SK roads. Not safe to. You have to be aware all the time. Even when I am doing the short drive home. Highest deaths by car accidents in the world. :(
I feel sorry for all you assholes driving around in gas automobiles.
Bio-Diesel is the way to go...costs about $1.20 a gallon and I don't have to give up driving a huge fuckin Ford F-250. Life is sweet when you make your own fuel.
Glad you did not single out us work truck drivers. ;) My truck gets 11mpg city. I do like being able to see though. The wife and I took the grand am to DC last weekend(4 banger) Close to 30mpg highway. 4$plus sucks, any way you slice it.
Yea 4 bux plus does suck. But like I said, I feel safer on the road these days. I feel for people who drive trucks who really have a need for them cause 125 bux to fill the tank really hurts. However there are a lot of guys out there who were driving big trucks to try and enhance thier manhood. The ones who still do have to pay a heavy price.
My car has the Corolla engine, so it gets good mileage. I have seen more of those Smart Cars around. They are tiny, but pretty cool looking little things.
This is what I like to hear! A bolt from the blue!
A proud american who manages to be (god help us!) concious of the safety of others in his environment not to mention that environment itself, as well as just his own.
The best part is that you get the last laugh when you both pull up at the gas pump when you fill your tank for about 50 bux and he has to spend over a hundred, and probably has to fill up more often.

I have a Fred Flinstone car; I just tap my feet on the ground several times and it can go forward for miles and without fuel.

Yup, I've had mine since it was new. Not even 70k miles on it yet. Runs like a charm and doesn't cost me a damn thing except for gas and insurance.

Quote from a high ranking Ford exec who preferred to remain anonymous.....
"The only off roading these things (SUVs) will be doing is when the owner drives up onto their lawn while coming home drunk"
I read it in The New Yorker a few years ago
