i've had an xbox and ps3, gave up on the xbox after my 3rd red ring in 2 years. the xbox controllers are chunky and the buttons are terrible for fighting games, and the batery life on the controllers is pathetic. Microsoft also like to rip you off, with the need for a remote control to watch movies no rechargable pack as standard for the controllers and a yearly online subscription. ps3 is also a better home entertainment system with the additional services other than playing games.

@VeeDubBigBird I have both and like both. there are pros and cons for each. the two major ones for the ps3 is that there are no trigger guards, and its easy to accidentally set off either R2 or L2. Also the analog sticks aren't as good as the xbox ones. Neither system is perfect, so both are good.

@superuber27 for first person shooters and driving games the xbox controller does feel like it was designed for them perfectly and the online chat options can not be beat, being able to tlak to friends playing different games is something the ps3 is missing along with the music option during games, but i guess that is part of the price you pay for the xbox online subscription.

Im not complaining about anything, and Im far from being a PS3 fanboy. Id MUCH rather play the best of the best in regards to quality games, which is the PS2 in my opinion. The only reason I even got a PS3 is because I knew my friend was getting one, i was moving away from his house, and that if i didnt get one id be stuck with almost nothing to do, aside from my weekly outdoor activities.

I'm not a PS3 fanboy, and know 4 a fact the RROD doesn't still happen. Like I said 2 someone else, I only got the PS3 because I knew a friend of mine whose house I was not going to be able 2 go over 2 anymore due 2 moving several states away, was getting 1. LOL. I hate it when nerds have flame wars or gaming systems. But I gotta say this is pretty accurate. I did some research and the average lifetime of an Xbox 360 is about 1 -3 years. Whereas the average for the PS3 it 8 - 12 years. I'm going on fact, BTW. Blame Microsoft. :/ Plus the PS3 has better graphic capibilities and more quality exclusive titles. (You can't deny it, with LBP Uncharted.) Though I suppose Halo is nice. But it's really over-rated. (I've played it before. All 4 of them.)
