This is just so ridiculous. I'm a convert to the Mormon church and I read all this anti-Mormon stuff years ago when i was first investigating the church! I took the time to learn the truth. I wish others would as well. The LDS church has the fulness of the gospel and will bring you closer to Jesus Christ and the Bible than any other church!
am amazed at mormons who say that I left the church to feel good about sin. Telling me I lost our babies (by miscarriage) because I left the church. Grrrr... Reminds me of the lies they are told to hold them in.
congratulation my friend it seems that you are intelligence and smart, but the thing is if you have built your foundation upon Christ i can strongly agree that you will be strong and know that the things that you learn are true.... but good luck on your journey
The mormon church is designed to keep you in check by imposing guilt. I left the mormon church 3 months ago because I finally had enough. I've wasted so much energy on this organisation it has on more than 4 occasions driven me to almost successfully suicide.
@bsdanielm Not worth the effort, because it simply isn't true. Get on with your wonderful like brother. It's beautiful and waiting for you to explore it all!
1. For me, losing my faith really was about the little things that when you really think about them become disastrous to the concept of a theistic universe. For ex, what he mentioned at the start, did Jesus die for people on other planets too? They have no idea about the Romans and "give to Caesar", etc. So why would a universal scripture contain references so specific to one planet? Another thing is why if the universe was created for mankind is more than 99.99999999999% of it uninhabitable
2...cold dark empty space. And why would God have created the universe to begin with? A person only does something because they are imperfect. For ex. I watch a movie because I am bored. But a perfect timeless god would exist in a perfect state. After a few billion years he randomly decides to create? The act of creation implies that he was longing for something. And what was the point anyway? Did he really create mankind just so that they would worship him? How egotistical. But if he did
3...want to create a being in his own image he could have created that being in his supernatural realm. Why would he create a whole new "natural" realm just for this being? He cuts himself off from his creation entirely but then punishes them eternally if they use their reason and doubt his existence? He judges us all equally but makes it far easier for some people to accept his existence? - By their being born into a healthy happy Christian family for ex..... I've ranted on for long enough lol
Ah yes, the power of thinking critically. More Mormons have lost their "testimony" by thinking than by any other means. My favorite is that we actually believed that Kolob (first of all that a place called Kolob exists) was the source of light for the sun. It boggles the mind what people believe because it's cloaked in "faith." Here's to the development of healthy critical thinking skills. Absurdities, nonsense and Mormonism don't stand a chance against such.
@cindybin2001 We do realize you are shocked at hearing this information. That it is disturbing you and making you quite nervous. Fortunately, we do know what we are talking about. We've already come through the refiner's fire, my friend. Screaming and whaling and gnashing of teeth, isn't going to make it true, no matter how badly you want it to be.
But peace be with you, if you need this to be true. We are only here for informational purposes, not to pull you out of your "faith".
@ExmormonFoundation What a thing to say! As I've said before, I already read this stuff years ago when I was first investigating the church!! I took the time to learn the truth. I wish others would as well. I can't imagine being a member of any other church.
@cindybin2001 And you are welcome to worship in any delusional state you would like to. We are all free to stay in "the matrix" or wake up. It is up to you.
@pmallon64 as to the second part, I think it could be possible for God to have created the universe for sentient beings. If you think about it, a well-to-do family would buy a really big house if they planned on having a really big family, and even though, say they have twins, and for the most part those twins cannot do anything but with only a small part of the house, ei their cribs, high chairs et cet. if mankind (or sentient beings) are in their infancy, this analogy would apply
For the first time in my life, I find myself unfraid of hell. If Lyndon is the type of soul cast there, we'll be just fine. Thank you for posting this enjoyable presentation.
Well good for you. Eliminating fears and absurdities is a great way to live life. Live your life on your own terms, believing and doing what works best for you. All the best to you on your journey!
Your talk is very interesting to me. I imagine bringing up things that people did not know caused some problems. I admire you for talking about your experiences so openly.
Joseph would use his magic rock to deceive people into thinking he could see buried treasure buried deep within the earth. People paid him, but Joe the trickster never could find anything real. He was later arrested for his scamming.
JohnP: Perhaps you would like to expound on his arrest a little bit more for us.. Who brought the charges? What were the charges? Was their a trial? What was the outcome? Who were the parties involved?
sorry MrNirom /MrNiWorm,people dont have to do your MORmON tail chase because you say so. MORmONS will demand a cite for gravity when it suits you & then you pile on with cites from MORmON authorities/ BYU prof. spin doctors that are meaningless propagandist pap that you want to be considered credible. EPIC FAIL! YOU PATHOLOGICAL LDS LIAR!
You are the jerk who claims temple endowed LDS do not have to wear temple garments. UR just a pro LIAR!
Ah.. I love it when people must resort to name calling to get their point across. Does it make you feel like you are better than me? :-) You don't know me and so to call me a liar is slander. But that is typical for people like you.
Free Agency is the ability to choose. No one makes anyone do anything. Why is so hard for people to understand that? The temple endowed LDS choose.. I said CHOOSE to wear their temple garments. It is not FORCED upon them. Wake up!
I do know you! You are a pathological liar. The truth is your nemesis! You are the wormy scummy type of person that no one wants to be around. I love the fact that you have taken up residence with the MORmONS! Epic liars in their own right, its a perfect match for you !

He only had one side of the story. In all cases. He had the actions.. without the explanition. And without the same mindset of those who did the actions. Yet.. he determined the truth? Once he made his "truth" the rock... he just built on it from there. Now what if that rock was wrong? Build on whole truth.. not 1/2.

* Ane Margretha Nielsen, born 5 February 1859 in Onslev, Falster, Denmark. she was born 15 years AFTER he died.
* Dorothy Cotton, born about 1649 in Of, Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, USA. she was born 195 years before joseph!

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is cult, founded by a satanic prophet named Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith is a false prophet.
LDS Inc. wants your money, just say no to mormonism!
I am exmormon and my family members were sexually abused by the missionaries. I am so glad to be delivered from the mormon cult.
Great video, great channel!
