I can understand why the rape scene was omitted, but:

1. Around 1:07, Guts looks far too indifferent to Ubik. He would have grabbed the little runt and tore him a new one.

2. Why does Caska run away like a little girl? She wanted to fight to the end in the manga.

Yeah, a little skewed in character presentation especially. Without the Griffith dream sequence, his motivations seem confusing. Not to mention, what's with Caska giving that little shriek and running away? In the manga and anime, after a brief freak out, she had to be dragged away by Judeau to keep her from fighting.

Griffith sacrificed the Hawks because he realized his dream (of becoming king) was above everyone else, and it was far too late to atone for the blood he had already shed. Therefore he let go of everything.

He realized when Guts left the team, that he was weak and dependent on his support. So he sacrificed those feelings to become stronger.

You can order Berserk for PS2 online, but you'll also have to buy a Japanese PS2 (about $300). The OS is different for each system, you MIGHT be able to mod your PS2/3, but I doubt it.

The average gamer now is between the ages of 18-30, the "young adult" demographic. A reasonable percent of gamers fall into this demographic, as they have both the money and time to spare to game. The idea that gamers are all children, and games should only be for children, is antiquated at best.
