i find it funny that people argue over the internet... people have alot of frustration in their lives. just look at this video and consume the knowledge
Thanks for posting! Love it! You should experiment with using the bottom of a carbonated beverage alum. can as your gas wick, but make it as shown in the "Home-Made Pocket Camp Stove (Updated!) " video... it just might be the "key" you are looking for.
What did you say, What did you SAY? Sounds like your talking into a Dixie cup with a string going to another one at the camera! Needless to say -- voted thumbs down.
Thanks for the video 86thmountmerrion. I like the tasty pears comment. LOL.
Cool video and it looks like your stove is working quite well. Ignore the trolls, I suppose it's an unfortunate part of the internet but it's been like that forever. Give a monkey a keyboard... Right?

Kudo's for the post nonetheless. looks like it's a good tutorial ( just needs to have the Sound Re-done Imo) thanks.
That fucking brogue is hard enough to understand when you can hear it. All I'm getting from this is a slide show and some kid mumbling in the background.
Honestly, I'm sure this is a very informative video, but you need to re-do the audio and upload it again.
Can you explain what the smallest can is used. (gas wick??). I went to your channel and watch the video there. I still don't see how the small can is used. Thanks
is this more efficient than the EverythingNice World Stove you show in your other vids? i built both, and the burning time seems to be the same, except the World Stove gives charcoal, and this one burns down to white ash. your vids are gr8, keep up the good work and thank you man
holy fuck you take like 5 minutes to make one simple point. i could have made this same video but without saying everything 5 times and it would be like 1 minute long compared to your 7:30
Great video. I showed this to a group of kids in a survival course in Canada. I usually show the comments as well because they help clarify the video. But with all the profanity from some users, I don't dare. Perhaps you can delete those comments and clean it up a bit. Otherwise, great video!
@Mr420rush It is a free country, but would you swear in church? Kids look at this too, how would they perceive what you are saying? I for one do not think they need to be unnecessarily exposed.
@Mr420rush The fact that you're unhappy with your life and your missus isnt putting out doesn't mean you have to take it out on the internets wood gas fans.
hey mate i bet you could make money off of them like selling them on ebay if you make a good enough one you could probably sell it for £10 that is a fair price
Nice idea. What you going to use your gassifier for?
It is easier to put holes in cans by stuffing them densely (with newspaper to stop them collapsing in) and bashing a nail in rather than messy drilling (all the sharp bits go on the inside of the can) - this wouldnt work for the large can with the 'springy' edges. Oh, and put your cans (once empty) individually on an open fire or bonfire first to burn off the nasty inner coatings.
You did a great job. It got easier to understand you as I got used to your accent. I think I can do something similar by making some minor alterations to my existing paint can stove. I wish the boys in my boy scout troop showed enough interest to try stuff like this. Keep you the good work!

Thank you for your video. I've spend days looking at 'wood-gas stove' videos and texts yet, apart from the scientific community, you are the only person who understands the concept and mechanisms involved.
Lovely! My sons and I made a woodgas stove last night according to your video and it works like a charm! Much more fun than buying one (not to mention the cash you've saved our low-budget camping :D)
Lakewood do your homework, this is working on wood gasification, the reburning of wood gas, the lad has done a good job and if you can't understand his accent look at the pictures I understood him fine... well done mate good vid... LOL blast furnice indeed...LOL.. fool
Sorry man you are just increasing combustion due to an increase in air flow similar to how a blast furnace works. You are not generating wood gas and then reburning that gas to heat your water. You are doing one step similar to a campfire only slightly more efficient. This is a hobo stove at best
Hay M8, nice flow of instructions! Really appreciate that! Good vid ! I couldn't quite understand your accent, no worries, if your going to re-do, just 'haps a little slower ? I am happy to say, this is way more informative and helpful by way of your vid shots and still shots, than some vid's I have saved off to use as instructions eh! very well done, nice. Your right about the pears ! (very nice ) haha!
Great video, if you can redo audio just slow down when you speak. DO NOT sweat the lack of music, it is usually tiresome Better pictures would be more desirable. MUSHY PEA tin? for what purpose though. I think you put it upside sown after it gets going no?
can't wait to see/here this redone its very nice as is though.
Great job ob the stove! I like it best of all i've seen. I'm not trying to be mean but even if the sound quality was good most of us can't understand you. The accent along with the fast talking is is a difficult combination to follow. Slow down and speak clearly. You can't talk like you do in every day life on an instructional video.
You should speak more clearly and accentuated if you are doing further video projects the future :o) I could hardly understand any single word (due to the bad sound quality as well).
Brilliant idea! So many good minds coming together for a nice solid survival stove! I, too am ashamed that the nutcase ASP has been allowed to have use of a computer, his parents must not monitor him too well! Again, this was an excellent video!
This is great! In a survival situation, we wouldn't have all the tools at hand shown in other videos. You've boiled this down to something that can pretty much be done anywhere! I can show your method to the scouts I work with. Thanks so much.
P.S. And I'm sorry the A.S.P. person has stopped by to polute your comments section - s/he has been to other sites with nothing constructive to say and who suffers from diareah of the mouth. A person to be pitied.
