@Durban4Durbin I don't think James is a "terrible" singer. A good showman...perhaps. But I would puke after I gave a vocal performance as bad as this too.

I hope somebody convinced him to work with a good vocal coach between Idols Tour and his album debut, cuz he COULD be really good. Dude just misses WAAYYY too many notes, flat or sharp all the time. Ask anybody with professional singing/teaching background. Just listen 6:50-7:20...AWEFUL! Sorry Durban4Durbin. His best is his lower register.

@kfarring I'm pretty sure that if you asked ANYBODY in the industry, Adam would be head, shoulders, and waist above James in just about every sense of the words "talent" and "performance". I don't like to just show up and comment ripping somebody, but I just don't see how Durbin fans can't hear how off he is on just about EVERY high note, and comes off flat or sharp in a lot of his lower register. He's got a pocket in his voice that sounds SWEET!, but when he leaves it...its sounds just awful.

@Salos2217 It's a matter of personal taste, a lot of people like myself prefer James in every way, Lambert's high register to me is a turn off. The problem I have is not the comparisons, which are completely ridiculous to begin with because James is hard rock and Adam is glam and electronica, but it's the obsession Adam's fans have with James, comes off as mass insecurity. When Adam publicly critized James he came off as a immature turd trying to undercut a much younger person's career.

@kfarring I could see how you could prefer James' style. But thinking James is a better/more gifted/talented/skilled VOCALIST than Adam would just be plain wrong. Taste in music and personality has nothing to do with that. To me, that would be saying Toby Keith is better than Pavarotti. You may prefer Keith, but IS NOT a better vocalist.

And I know, even the best could miss a note here or there, but James misses them consistently. You should also check out more adam vids, dude sings EVERYTHING

Adam just sang a set with Queen when Queen received a World Icon Award. (Rock). Check out "Soaked" acoustic version. (Opera (Pop-Opera). "Is Anybody Listening" from Ten Commandments (Theater). "A Change Is Gonna Come" (Rhythm & Blues/Rock/Soul). "If I Can't Have You", Idol Performance (Ballad). I hated Adam's album, I don't like the Dance/Electronic/Pop music either.

James to me is a one trick Pony. He gives decent tries at other genres, but hardly sings Metal well consist
