Anyone can be Shawn or Sid. They're useless live, I admit on the albums they kinda make it heavier, but if you see him working "hard" on the making of All Hope is Gone, he just stands there and taps a big drum thing for like 10 minutes. Just fucking...hit anything you want live, and jump on the percussion sets. Craig is also useless...but I guess it wouldn't be Slipknot without them lol.

I totally agree. I've always thought they're damn useless and pretty pathetic with those percussions and let's say the truth... the whole thing doesn't sound so much heavier, in lives they just headbang all the time. On the other hand they make the show more insane and since shawn is one of the first members he must have been very important for the band formation and even after that. Aother thing is the useless guys may have been involved in song writing expressing their ideas even if
