  • Phil Collins is pretty much the biggest knobhead in Rock

  • @dowhatthouwiltful why???

  • @MrMatt1606 Just don't like his vocals

  • It's amazing how reserved he is considering how strange and exposed he is on stage

  • I guess these German interviewers realize that they are inteviewing one of the greatest Prog/Rock musicians of all time. Though I dig the Germans more then the Brits the Brits made the best rock music of all time. No other country has come even close and that includes America!

  • @nat00ben06 totally agreed. there were some great american bands, too but yeah.. almost all of the best stuff came out of britain. there was really not much great stuff from any other countries.

  • @nat00ben06

One of the interviewers, the guy on the left is British. His name is Alan Bangs. He speaks fluent German with a funny accent.I saw this interview live on German TV in '78. Remember, PG was still unknown to a wider audience in those days!!

  • Interesting German interview.

  • Grrr There are is precious rare footage of him being interviewed! Couldn't they ask more interesting questions!

  • Oh Lord... How young and naive he was....

  • I pretty much stopped listening to PB sometime after 'So'...tried to get into a couple of albums after, but just didn't have much interest...guess I'm more a die-hard Old Genesis fan...ah well!

  • i was feeling part of the scenery i walked right out of the machinery.

  • I do this when I go on a date... just randomly look away, and rattle off a bit in German.. The ladies LOVE me!! :)

  • People in the background need to shut the fuck up!

  • der eingeschüchterte PG (frightened) traurig (so sad)

  • Volume, please. I love Peter right through "So" then I got bored. Except for the live shows. This guy has never been hungry a day in his life, I don't mean spiritually hungry. I guess it's a love-hate relationship.

  • he used to cut his hair funny in the 70's. his scalp is permantly exposed now as his hair as fallen out.

  • @jaggass lol

  • Soooooooooooooooooooooo young!!!

  • He is seriously adorable ... and patient! I just can't figure out why the arrogant interviewer doesn't just ask him questions in English and then have German subtitles overtop. I know for a fact that subs existed in the late 70s and early 80s, so this baffles me.

  • @MrEvsmusic It's a common technique for interviewers to do. He's not being arrogant, it's a method of maintaining connection with the audience. Remember, this is an interview in front of a crowd, not just a camera.

  • I cunt ear ah FOCKING eng !!!

  • @hazor777

Turn your speakers up, you lazy bastard.

  • @EuchridEucrow1 : Fahhk UFF!

  • @hazor777 There is a special place in hell for Phil Collins, Mickey Hart and Peter Cetera for hopelessly ruining good bands.

  • looks like Ian Curtis :-)

  • 4:06 LOL. About the punk version of "A whiter shade of pale" > "it just apealed to my sens of humor".

  • I'd like to hear those versions of 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and 'Heard it Through the Grapevine'!

  • I love you Peter...
