Zombie movies usually have very similar plots. Zombies take over, survivors find a place to hold up (usually an underground bunker) and then the shit hits the fan!! The story is usually tweeked slightly in every example, but it remains pretty basic and as a Zombie fan I enjoy watching that scenario unfold. However The Walking Dead has now told that story and has to build up from that basic foundation. Can it be done and where do you go next?

I personally like that the story is slightly different, I think it was Kirkman that said he did that to give the readers something new other than just the same plot retold. Besides that way you can't nitpick at the little plot points that I'm sure would get changed anyways. I just hope they don't push the zombie orgin plot too much because I think they should keep it like the books in the regard that the focus is on the survivors.

When I first saw it I actually thought her eyes were faked, Jesus these guys are awesome, like kriskater said they've got to be the best at making a Zombie series, there are alot of crap Zombie stuff like Land of the Dead, that FAILED, so did Survival of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, they're crap, Dawn and Shaun of the Dead however they're good, but still The Walking Dead is just perfect. The BEST Zombie series.
