The money is paid to a health organization which then pays ALL your health expenses in a year. If you need no doctor, they keep all the money, if you do they pay all. This way, your doctor has the incentive to keep you healthy.
Also the US govt can force AMA to increase enrollment to med schools. AMA has monopoly powers is setting the supply of doctors.

There is no information for patients. We need a market for health care. Imagine this info is publicly available. How many people would go to these doctors. Also AMA de-certifies doctors that testify against their follow doctors.
Also, generics are identical to the drugs made by large pharmaceuticals. Imagine that you live in a building but you pay only the average electricity bill. In this case, you don't care to tun off your lights. Same with govt health care. You don't pay directly for your health bill, nobody cares to economize, this is why the cost increases so fast.
Either you are changing the channels with precision or this wasn't a CNN broadcast, they do some filthy things but this particular clip is self-misinformation. Good job but I think the point here is missed.

They put in 50% more money in the last 7 years and nothing changed.
10% of people wait more than 12 hours in the emergency wait room (in pain).
The US system is better, too bad the US govt spends a lot on health (45% of total). When govt spends, there are huge leaks.
