I have a 660 raptor with some work and a 450 with some work and my 450 has smoked every raptor i have ever race, big bore, stroked doesnt matter. 450 is quicker to the top end and they cant make it up without a buttload of gear and sprocket changes.
@jiyfz450 450 weighs less than a craptor... quad or bike. Craptor 660's are one of the worst quads to ever roll around (like a turd) on the earth. Terrible geometry, weighs too much, and if you actually can ride the chassis will be outridden after one lap at a kid's track

I have a 88 LT500R Quadzilla and no factory made quad can touch it,not even a 660 Raptor gold ed.I have to lean over the handlebars so i dont flip it on takeoff.Its been refreshed but its bone stock...ive beaten or went even up with some severely modded Banshees.Then again ive had my QZ for 23 years.I do lack in the woods due to my ancient suspension but flat out,people get MAD when my old fossil pulls away from their $15K Banshee.The rider has alot to do with it too i guess

I had a 250r, traded it for a banshee, sold that after years of mixing gas to haul ass to buy my 05 yfz 450. Hit the starter and it fires right up. No mixing gas, no kick starting and it still goes just fine. Love the smell sound and snap of a 2 stroke, but the 450 goes good enough!!!

Doubtful. 450s have not even been around for 10 years and 1/2 the ones I see have already been rebuilt. And besides, same can be said about 2 strokes. My Tri-Z is 25 years old and its on its second bore. It depends on how you treat them. Its def easier to beat on a 2 stroke but if you take it easy and use good oil, they last a long time. But still...you can rebuild a 2 stroke 5 times for the price of one 4 stroke rebuild.
I got an 87 Honda. Never opened the engine for anything. Most opened it's ever been was taking tail pipe off for a repaint. That's Honda showing it right there. But, i will say, Honda 2 strokes are great too.

i havent raced against the Raptor 700 SE yet,i forgot about that one...single piston 4 bangers arent the best off the line though.....but they kick ass in 2nd and 3rd gear.There was this one kid that had a Polaris 500 H.O. with the CVT that wasnt great on top end but that thing would scream on takeoff,he never would tell us what he did to it.

@netrioter Ahh I dont think so, this year at the dunes during rattlesnake in OK, there were thousands of people and the worked banshees slaughtered everything out there. There were definately 2T quadzillas but none that were worked. a few hundred in a quadzilla and it would destroy a banshee but there is not enough of them.

I have a 88 LT500R Quadzilla and no factory made quad can touch it,not even a 660 Raptor gold ed.I have to lean over the handlebars so i dont flip it on takeoff.Its been refreshed but its bone stock...ive beaten or went even up with some severely modded Banshees.Then again ive had my QZ for 23 years.I do lack in the woods due to my ancient suspension but flat out,people get MAD when my old fossil pulls away from their $15K Banshee.The rider has alot to do with it too i guess

I had a 250r, traded it for a banshee, sold that after years of mixing gas to haul ass to buy my 05 yfz 450. Hit the starter and it fires right up. No mixing gas, no kick starting and it still goes just fine. Love the smell sound and snap of a 2 stroke, but the 450 goes good enough!!!

Doubtful. 450s have not even been around for 10 years and 1/2 the ones I see have already been rebuilt. And besides, same can be said about 2 strokes. My Tri-Z is 25 years old and its on its second bore. It depends on how you treat them. Its def easier to beat on a 2 stroke but if you take it easy and use good oil, they last a long time. But still...you can rebuild a 2 stroke 5 times for the price of one 4 stroke rebuild.

I got an 87 Honda. Never opened the engine for anything. Most opened it's ever been was taking tail pipe off for a repaint. That's Honda showing it right there. But, i will say, Honda 2 strokes are great too.
