Since Dinah returned do they ever say what happened to Dorie?

The last mention I remember of her was when India came back in '98, I think she said Dorie was in Europe or something. I think her education was one of the reasons India had money problems.
Thanks it was driving me crazier.
I remember now we got Grant Aleksander and Robert Newman back within a few weeks of each other.
Although I did enjoy John Bolger as Phillip and on Another World as Gabe.
When Grant Aleksander left GL to pursue a career in primetime, John Bolger was recast as Philip.
