I never really liked this song as much as the original Zelda overworld theme, but listening to it again right now, I don't think there's any music which has so much emotional resonance for me. It's so tied up in my childhood memories that I can't listen to it without remembering the time that Kurt restarted the game over the Water Temple, or having Stewart come over and beat those two Stalfos in the Forest Temple...
