It's not a stereotype it's a fact that most bands in this genre, and most who listen to these types of bands either don't acknowledge Christ, or they rebuke Christ . @nixionroxs whether a band is christian or not is debatable for sure, Oh, Sleeper's vocalist is definitely christian and says that comes through in their songs but does that make the band itself christian? can a band even be christian? is a band christian when all the members in it are christian or when they sing about christian stuff (even when they're not christian)... but, lets give the benefit of the doubt. the least christian band there is norma jean in my opinion (since Josh Scogin left)

Screamo is not just music with screaming in it. Screamo is a completely seperate genre. There were no screamo bands in this video except maybe underOath. All of the others were metalcore/deathcore.

I like these kind of bands, but you have to be pretty stupid to think this is actually Christian music. @nixionroxs whether a band is christian or not is debatable for sure, Oh, Sleeper's vocalist is definitely christian and says that comes through in their songs but does that make the band itself christian? can a band even be christian? is a band christian when all the members in it are christian or when they sing about christian stuff (even when they're not christian)... but, lets give the benefit of the doubt. the least christian band there is norma jean in my opinion (since Josh Scogin left)

I like these kind of bands, but you have to be pretty stupid to think this is actually Christian music. In the bible it says there's gonna be people who pretend to worship god but rather lead a generation blindly to hell, like Catholicism. False idols, blasphemy I don't really care and all just something that gets crammed down your throat as a kid. He told them his God was the true God So he called upon God and God answered and made them fall to their faces and agree with Elijah that his God was the King of Kings. Maybe in other Catholic Churches they teach there are "Multiple Gods" but growing up I was never taught that....I was told quite the opposite. mean even the first Commandment is "Thou Shall Not Have Other Gods Before Me." Music in general is misunderstood. Music has no religion, lyrics and band members do. It's a way of communicating belief. Most people don't realize it. If someone is Christian, and they also happen to like metal and make a band, don't you think it would be logical to make a Christian metal band?
