"What we have here is a failure to communicate". I could have been happy listening & learning from him while at the same time he has the least ammount of care for her than I've seen in a man. Herself,after a lifetime of no physical love,she declares her love to a man who she knows is not her type,but in a small village 17 years after World War1so many men died & that made for many non-married women.I totally identify with her longing for love.
