Jokes aside though, this is the best kind of soundtrack - one that ISN'T memorable or amazing, and one that doesn't stand out to the player; it blends so seamlessly with the game and the atmosphere that you won't even remember the songs having played. The music feels like a part of the levels themselves, subtly and silently adding to the already wonderful atmosphere without being noticed or making an impression.

Hearing these songs now on YouTube is like hearing them for the first time.

@DonnerChu it depends. Ambient soundtracks are cool and all but compare to the emotion of say legend of zelda or final fantasy song and they kind of pale in comparison. Either way, video games seem to having better soundtracks than most modern movies.

It represents the future of my species, our technological advancement, the moral/ethical questions that plague our advancement and the people with the actual power to control everything.
