I miss the parasite spies from Starcraft 1. That was like the Zerg intel. Terran had scanners, protos hade invisible UAVs and the Zerg would bug the enemy base. Well terran still have the sweep and protos still have the UAV but what about the Zerg?
This trick works pretty good to a protoss player , too ! I saw a zerg player used parasite on a protoss probe and built a Nexus , then the zerg player built his own probe and built a protoss army !! Now you have 2 kinds of army and max cap is 400 !!
"If you have an extra second, please thumbs up and favourite my video. and for more Zerg tricks subscribe and visit my channel. Take it easy and thanks for watching."
lol if this is a maphack then observers are too (same thing basicly cuz with any detector u can stop it ) so its just like any other strat that u hope they dont have detect and even they do u can still waste there queen energy
haha nice one... and no i dont think its cheating just a clever use of mechanics.... and yes if u had an infestor in there base u could see all the tech but after it dies its like a continous scout so u can see his tech LATER ON if they dont kill em off
It would be fun to use an overlord to drop a queen in the enemy base and poop creep so he queen can placea a tumor. If enemy is Terran or Protoss they won't be able to build!
2. It's completely useless. Not only is neural parasite a waste of money and energy in ZvZ, but overseers and/or spore crawlers will always exist by the time you get infestors with neural parasite. The creep tumor will easily be killed by any units plus a detector, assuming the creep tumor isn't killed before it even manages to cloak. It also would be extremely difficult to MC the queen without the infestor getting killed (be it during or after the NP)
a nice trick but a waste of energy and gas imo as well as taking a huge risk even trying to get infestor in position and not do worker harass. besides, scouting this late is pointless you already know what he is doing. mass roaches, a half dozen infestors, and teching to broodlord.
Interesting trick but largely impractical I think. 1 NP costs 100 energy. If you have 2 infestors in their base with full energy, they can cast enough ITs to take out the base, but doing this would mean 4 less ITs. Also it's much easier to just send a changeling in and hide it behind the lair/hive. Those buildings are so big that most of the time the other player won't even notice a same colored small zergling tail coming out the back somewhere.
Very genius idea, but by the time you have infestors out, your opponent should have at least 1 overseer, plus I would prefer to fungal growth the mineral line
@HaloSwordKing Attack move kills the creep tumor if there is detection. It would just be better in general to fungal the workers if a person has this opportunity.
pretty useless idea ...how about geting a ultra to haras his expo - you get a ultra with 100 % hp and attack the enemy expo where there are workers , and you kill as many posable and have vision of his expo !! the ultra cant be killed if he doesnt have units to deal dmg to it !!! :O
That's kinda cool but it doesn't seem very practical. Especially with how you really want every one of those fungal growths to be used on the army, they're SO good :D
To be honest, I think the 100 energy would be more optimally spent on fungaling the drones. If the enemy has no detector why not just scout the base with a burrowed Infestor anyway to see what he is doing and counter it. Also What kind of game do you get up to Infestor tech without knowing what an enemy player is doing? :P
@Florio003 Unless the queen goes on a killing spree, I don't think the enemy commander will even get the "your drones are under attack" message, so you can easily do this without your opponent ever realizing, and maybe charge up your infestor after doing this trick and fungal the workers later.
What's more, if you only have one infestor then you're not going to kill the drones with one fungal, anyway.
@Florio003 also, whats the point of wasting ur energy in a queen, inject a creep tumor in the late game (when u already got infestors) and both armies r around 150/150 with several expantions?... i dont get it.
@Florio003 or FG his larvas =D (if there are over then 12 larvas) but this guy wanted to show the creep tumor spy in a zerg`s base which is a perfect scout "unit" ,U can see almost everything in his base
@Florio003 Lol. If you have an infestor you should get Infested Terrans (you can shoot out Terrans w/o un-burrowing, giving you time to save your Infestors) to be able to kill off workers (one fungal can't kill all of them) and then focus fire the hatchery.
@live2createlife Nope, When you parasite a queen, The queen technically becomes your own. If you played Team Leagues you cannot inject your partner's hatchery because abilities of your own units cannot be used on other structures. It's also like trying to repair an enemy Unit with a SCV, instead of repairing that unit, the SCV attacks it lol.

Harken92 8 months ago
This is good as you can spread the creep to all his bases and see what he has at all times an even with detection they might not notice the tumours.
Oh and for the people saying "why not fungal the drone line" you can do that after this if you bring another infested rather than doing it with 1.

As someone already said, fungal growth would probably be better AND flying your own queen (in an overlord of course) would probably be easier.

@jccrosby1982 The whole point is that it is "invisible" to the other player they would need to use a detector to be able to see it.
