I just got rid of my sport bike i agree readability and comfort are number one, my back my wrists and my neck made me hate that bike. i as so glad to sell it. beautiful but man 20 miles and i have to get off it. im not sure if i want liquid cooled version of the iconic engine.
Actually not sure of the top speed. This bike has chased down serious sportbikes on PCH with no problem. It isn't as fast, doesn't accelerate as fast - but it's easier to ride. The top speed won't match a 1000cc inline engine.
thanks for the sincere reply, my friend with all 1000cc bikes like zx-10r, R1, ZX-14 like to cruise at 200km/h, if i can follow them at that speed, i will consider the GS....
@metalgear32 it will manage 200 klicks easily, my question is why you would want to do that just to keep up with your mates? what do you want in a bike? how long if at all have you been riding, how much longer do you wish to continue to do so? if you like to have a quick blurt to that sort of speed and have the bike, experience and sound judgement of appropriate time and place.go for it, if you dont...take the time to learn, develope your skills to that level.............then go for it.
