  • Definitely Lilica's theme.

  • Sounds a lot like something befitting of Lilica.

    Hate Lilica. Love the song.

  • I don't play with Lilica that much, but she can get annoying with her speedy skates, axel slides and connecting grabs.

  • Too much effort to play her but her AI is evil. Although it mostly spams that tornado attack that knocks you up into the air.

  • Oh yeah, I find too that she spams Tempestas' attacks. Very annoying. >.>; Argh!

But comboing with her is quite easy. Take it from me, I drop combos like I'd drop a hot potato. Lol.

  • I dont use her much. I'm a Mei-Fang player myself <3

  • I don't have any experience in Arcana Hearts 2 or Sugoi!, but in AH, I used Konoha

  • I haven't played 2 yet myself. I'm dying to, preferably a lagless version but I digress.

Mei-Fang will probably always be my favorite though.

  • The new characters look interesting, I might be switching from Konoha to someone like Zenia

  • Zenia looks cool. I intend to give Akane and Petra a try as well. The nuns don't really appeal to me much, though, Catherine seems like the new Kira, and Dorothy looks pretty hard to handle.

  • I thought I was switching or something when I tried out the new characters....

Boy did I think wrong. *Sticking with Maori*

I will admit, I think Petra and Zenia can do work once a lot of practice has been but in. With Zenia, you'd have to time the charges of her weapon to maximize the most damage. It amazes me how guys can connect a string of max hits with the pilebunker on those competition vids. I still need to focus on timing without looking at the meter.

  • So Zenia takes a lot of precision, huh? Interesting...I wasn't aware of her playstyle.

Petra looks like she can do some pretty nice damage, though, especially from a distance. Unfortunately, from what I hear she's one of the main characters who create a lot of lag in the PS2 version...looks like I'll see how that goes.

  • Yeah, she along with Cathy and Dorothy are the lag-culprits. Well, for me.

I didn't think that pilebunker required precision but yup. Thought I could just charge the move 100% but no...its like 75% for maximum damage. Which is wierd.

  • Hm, you'd think charging it to it's maximum would cause the most damage...I'll give her a try when I get the game (eventually).

Are the new Arcanas any good? I was looking forward to testing some of them out (Mei-Fang with Punishment in particular looks devastating).

  • ^Exactly. I keep having that mentality when ever I play with Zenia.

As for the new Arcana. Each one is very interesting. Haven't really dwelled into them but I can say that Punishment is a hard hitter. Those swipes can do some damage. I also tried Sound (which is like water but more intricate.) and Holy (pretty balanced with healing capabilites and projectiles.) Next I might give Mirror a whirl then Flower.

  • How well is Holy's healing? If it gets in more health than Moriomoto does, than it might be appealing somewhat...

I wanted to try out Punishment and Magnetism most (unsure how it works, but if it's as the name implies and draws foes in close, than that can be VERY useful...)

  • I think its on par with plant. Nothing to distinctive from what I can remember but I'll be more than happy to look back into holy. In fact I think everyone who has healing capabilities, regenerates at the same pace thankfully.

As for Magnetism, you hit the nail on the head. That's the Arcana Blaze. I call it Magnetic Storm. It draws both characters towards each other and metal objects are flying everywhere in the process. (But they come in like one at a time not necessarily a whole rush.)

  • Meh, Moriomoto is a decent healer but I wouldn't necessarily rely on it unless I had my super bar up high and I did the Arcana Force...

Sounds like a practical Blaze. The main thing about playing Mei-Fang is that she's a very up-close fighter, so letting your opponent get away from you can mean a quick loss if they get projectile-heavy...meh, I might have to experiment.

  • soundz like lililac

  • this is one of my favs.

  • I Think Zenia And Saki Shares This Theme.
