In this case, the Jordanians fled the battlefields that Israel and Jordan were fighting on, so as not to get in the way of fire from both sides. I went into buildings one by one to make sure there no civilians, walking straight into ambushes and traps just to protect them. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Israel. Yeah, that's right, three Arab countries and one tiny Jewish country.
The 'Palestinians' are Jordanian refugees from '67. Before '67, they were just regular Jordanians. Basic Middle East history. There us no occupation. There was never a Palestinian state.

People were living in the land that is now Israel. Whether they had a governing body or not (I'm sure they had their own leaders, they just weren't part of a recognized state), they were living there, it was their home by definition. And they were forced to leave, sounds like occupation to me.

Sadly I don't have any proof from either side other than the word of mouth. So I guess let's leave it at that since I doubt anything constructive will come out of it.

In this case, the Jordanians fled the battlefields that Israel and Jordan were fighting on, so as not to get in the way of fire from both sides. They ran into the nearest calm area, the northern edge of Judea and samaria (what the news calls the west bank).
