  • I think I've played this etude. I can't remember if it's from the Rubank Advanced book or DeVille's universal method book...

  • Did you film this with your microwave?

  • @PrDrMrmanSir --- You just cracked me up. I have never laughed so hard at a comment on youtube before.

  • That sounds very good.Keep it up

  • WOW. sounds like a flute, sax and a clarinet combined! AWESOME!!!!

  • like to hear more I also play sopranino..great horn too bad you tube distorts the tone so much..what mpc? I use Yangi metal 7.. hard to find any others besides Selmer//if you know of any let me know

  • what a bad sound effect !!

  • it's a sopranino, sopranino 's shorter than soprano

  • Oh I know what he's playing! It's part of a duet from a Paul de Ville's method I have, I found it and I think I was playing it too fast, cause it sounds better like this...

  • this is like the only video on youtube showing classical sopranino playing. Thank you.

  • @epikownage Firstly, if you wanna throw in the C melody, you missed the C soprano, and the F mezzo-soprano, there's also a contra-alto, which is quite hard to find much info on. You also have it wrong in the upper area, where it should be; Sopranissimo (marketed as Soprillo) in Bb (not Eb), then the Sopranino in Eb, then soprano in Bb, (mezzo-soprano is next).Tubax's are pitched in Bb, Eb and C, and a true subcontra has never been produced.

  • BARI OWNS JUST LIKE YOU SAID :3

  • NO.

    Alto owns all.

  • @magmakillings20 YOUR CRACKED UP!

  • Tubax is Eppelsheim"s(srry if misspelled) version of the contrabass. He recently made a subcontrabass tubax which is basically the subcontrabass saxophone.

  • Sopranissimo is just another name for the soprillo

  • I wanna play the soprillo ans the sopranino saxes. now i play the alto and since i want to play the Piccolo i guess ill play the sopranino.

THE PICCOLO IS WHAT WE CALL THE S@#$

  • that's actually one of the best tones I've ever heard on a sopranino

  • No...that is a sopranino, not a soprano.

  • Definitely sopranino.

  • too high for my taste but nicely played

  • It's a soprano. Sopranino saxophones are only 12' without the mouthpiece. The fingers would look more squished together.

  • sopranos aren't that small

  • You're thinking of a sopranissimo (aka soprilo)

  • Sopranos are 25"-ish. Sopraninos are 18"-ish. SOPRANISSIMOS are 12". Duh.

  • Sopranissimos don't exist. The Progression is: subcontrabass sax (Eb and Bb) Contrabass sax (Eb) Bass sax (Bb) Baritone sax (Eb) Tenor sax (Bb) C Melody Sax (in C) (rare nowadays) Alto sax (Eb) Soprano sax (Bb, rarely seen nowadays in F) Sopranino sax, the one in this video (Eb) Soprillo sax (Bb, octave above soprano!) search google "eppelsheim soprillo" to find this small bugger
  • Soprillo, piccolo sax, sopranissimo sax.... same thing. =p Wait.... subcontra in Eb? I don't think so.

  • i believe it's the alto that is made in F, and the soprano is rarely made in C

  • you fail! altos are in Eb!!!

  • Lmao, seriously? So are baritone saxes and sopranino saxes. So umm... fail on your part?

  • The Soprillo and the Sopranissimo are the same thing. Another really rare one is the C Soprano.

  • Sopranissimo=Soprillo. :-)

  • lol, a sopranissimo sax is a soprillo sax

  • Comment removed

  • there is no subcontrabass sax. well there is but if you want to get technical it is called the subcontrabass tubax. :P

  • That is an Eb Sopranino. It says that in the title.

Anyway, the soprano is larger than that and it isn't as bright in tone.

  • thank you very much...

i was wondering if someone would realize the actual instrument being played...

    geez...

  • NABUCCO!?

  • No, Mozart, from the Opera Magic Flute.

  • iakpovon, this instrument is an Eb SOPRANINO

  • @GLSSS

I want a saxophone that I can pretty much play on my way to school, at the park, and all that. Would you say that the Sopranino or even a Bb Soprano would be suitable for that?

  • @Scariestkiller they aren't that different in size and a sopranino would be harder to play but once you get the hang of it it will be easy

  • @iakpovon that's most definitely a sopranino saxophone.

  • thats a soprano not a sopranino

  • this soprano is in Bb and this sopranino in an Eb

  • Awesome job!

  • Mozart - "bei maennern, welche liebe fuehlen" from "die Zauberfloete" - very nice!

  • Excellent.

  • i can check the profile bitch:)

  • already did check pro for sax playing

  • great job love it!!!

  • Sweet.

  • This sound is very cute. ^^

  • You're a prat.

  • You're a prick.

  • i would like u to try it! dick face

  • unless u can do better, than shut up ass hole
