  • i dont know nothing bout samarkand but im going to be doin a report about it so im going to learn new thing!!!!!!

    :)

  • Enjoy the video clip. Samarkand and Uzbekistan forever! Peace to everyone.

  • Only during Soviet times Tashkent started to play the role of Samarkand and Buhoro for Uzbeks. If you ask any Uzbek person where the historical, curtural and religious center of Uzbeks nation is, they will answer it is either Samarkand or Buhoro. Samarkand and Buhoro are Uzbek national, cultural and religious heritage!!

  • Samarkand was the capital of Amir Temur and Ulugbek. Babur tried three times to take Samarkand before he established his state in India. Buhoro was the capital of Sheybanid and Ashtarhanid dynasties. Temurid, Sheybanid and Ashtarhanid rulers and Uzbekistan have made enormous capital investments for development of Samarkand and Buhoro that we can see today. These lasted over many centuries. Amir Temur rebuilt a new Samarkand from ruins left by Chingizkhan's devastation.

  • Zardokht, Mehrangez1, serjberg and others, look, this year Uzbekistan is celebrating 2750th anniversary of Samarkand city. 2750 years ago Samarkand was founded by ancient Sogdians (not by today's Tajiks or Uzbeks) and it was capital of Sogdiana. Now there is no Sogdians and no Sogdiana, but there are Uzbeks and Tajiks and separate Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. However, Samarkand and Buhoro have been the most important cultural centers in the history of Uzbek nation!

  • dear mehrangiz we r samarkand people know this more than any body but life is not always as we want actually the more people grew up more thay understan that these cities r tajik cities and culture has nothing to do with uzbeks uzbeks themselfs when they become 25 30 they go beyond idiologikal history and understan this easily

in tashkent if u go there ans say u r from samarkand or bukhoro they say aaa tajik so take it easy nobody can hide this it is too much obviouse

  • Only because of stupid Lenin made split and demilitarisation. I don't have anything to do with and against Uzbeks they are ok, but they don't want to accept truth and top of it try to argue and inherit that doesn't belong them.

  • Even the language itself says many thing uzbek say Sohibkiron but the same time don't know the meaning of the word, Sartaroshhona (socholdirishhona), most of the names like Dilbar, Dilrabo, Dilfuza, Firuza, Sardor and many many if it's not all, this is proof that tadjiks they are owner of those lands.

  • we never think why even greatest Amir Timur have given name to most of he created places the tadjik names why is Sherdor, Tillo kori, Guri Amir, Shohi Zinda (not tirik), Bibi honum, because even being barlas Timur used to speak tadjik, no exactly farsi but samarkand slang and he knew that the majority were tadjik speaking people, even if you go to Karshi there is place call Padarkush (means killed father) it's the place for son of Ulugbek who killed his father.

  • Absolutely agree with Zardokht, everything in Samarkand, Buhara and Hiva belongs to tajiks, they are only one who contribute to this great heritage. Most of the historical places in Buhara have tadjik name like Masjidi Kalon, Labi hauz, Mohi Hosa...and many,

  • sdupid these names are not tajik but arabic, arabic always played major role and most places names were arabic, nothing to do with fucking tajik.

  • The most important part of the history of this city is Iranian. The ancient population of this city were soghdian Iranians, later they got persianized and became known as tajiks. Mongols, arabs have nothing to do with this city. Most of the place names are still iranic.

  • This is Tajik national heritage! Zenda bod tojikon!
