This is a brilliant film. It has all those elements that most French films lack : a storyline with actual characters, dialogue with vitality instead of pretension, and actors who can act. It also has some wonderful and discreet cinematography, great casting, and conveys many subtle meanings. I only wish the French could have more discernment about real "art" instead of eulogisising the fake uncrafted stuff they usually do. Definitely a commendable film, this one.

I like the films with Jean-Pierre Léaud of that time. But the eye-catcher in the ending scene is Claude Jade. She looks so elegant! Formidable!!

Ca y est encore un film de la saga antoine doinel. Il ne reste plus qu'à trouver l'amour à 20 ans avec le sketch colette et antoine et j'aurai tout vu. Merci beaucoup pour ces partages.
