  • What happened to the other 1/4 of the form?

  • yeah your footwork and stances are very

    fast.....hm well done.. train harder

  • @osnaconlove stances are very fast? what do you mean by that? stances are very fast taken or very fast changed or......... what ?

  • @ekkenaab i mean his whole movements are done very fast

includes the changing of the stances and i think in a competition he would get

about 8.7/10 Points but some of his movements are done too stiff.

the power has to come from the soft.

  • @osnaconlove okay, i see, thanks for the answer!

  • dies ist jedoch nicht die ganze form...but it was ok.

  • very good. well done. thank you ;)

  • i love it!!!

  • Skinny arms

  • @Azel247 Skinny yes, weak I bet there not.

  • incredible speed

  • As Kustomhead said:

    Flower fist.

  • For the posters that say this is the old compulsory routine, watch the video again or learn the compulsory. This is only the first 2 sections of the old compulsory with the Jump Inside Fall and Carp Kip Up removed.

For the slow kung fu poster: trad kung fu masters have their students learn wushu as kids to build their physical conditioning first then teach them the traditional techniques. Technique with no physical talent is every bit as useless as speed with no technique.

  • I think its pretty good...just missing a little chi.... i like it with no kip up .. its easier.

  • Yes, it looks a tad bit hurried, and some stances not "locked". But this vid is not representive of modern wushu *as a whole*. Modern Wushu does have a martial side....called "Sanda". Sweeps, throws, elbows and knees permitted. Granted it may be considered more of a sport, in that there are certain rules like no eye gouging, purposeful groin kicking or kneeing, etc. But, the contests go to knockout or if someone gets thrown from the fight area. They hit hard.

  • Whats the point of modern wushu? If your not training the MARTIAL side of the art,the flower fist are nothing. I admit, the wushu guys are faster than I am, but when I hit them, thier screwed.

  • it looks a bit hurried ! try making it look more relaxed yet powerfull ;-)

  • ur stance is too wide !

  • Agreed.

  • Sorry my English is no Good!

For the people........ China have Modern wushu and TRAD. Modern wushu NANQUAN have over 100 basic and Competition combination forms. This is the old international nanquan form, not basic form!

  • this isn't the completed form right?

Plus the jump in the first part is different from the international routine..maybe this's another version whatsoever? haha

  • wiiii! nanquan junior :)

thank you so much...I was forgetting :P

    thanks again bro

  • nanquan "南拳" is mean : South fist

the china south all wushu's unified name.

thats so many many Faction, then call nanquan to On behalf of completely all.

    sorry for broken english.

  • Huang Guang Yuan!

  • why same with the nanquan taolu?

  • taolu its the name of that routine? i learned but i only know it with traslated name (i'm brazillian)

  • taolu is mean "Form", like karate's "kata"

  • didnt know that, tnx, where i study we call it kati...so whats the name of that taolu?

  • "套路" taolu mean "form"

  • i kown, i learned only that taolu the south, but i see others taolu named nan quan here on youtube(such as basic nanquan, advanced nanquan), i wanted to know if there is a name for that taolu or is just nan quan

ps: i started wushu this month so sorry my ignorance

  • This is the nanquan compulsory form, its the first form you learn when you go into nanquan.

  • is not ok, before learn this form , you mus learn a lot of basic nanquan form, i learn over 20 basic nanquan forms before i learn the old international competition form. this form is not a basic form. its acompetition form. old international.

  • the name of the nanquan form depends on the number of movement that have each form for example 16 form, etc. and the traditional nanquan forms have names like iron fist or little flowers etc.
