This is incredible, makes my eyes water (another tough soldier, I thought)........BTW I have recently found out that my heritage is Croatian, grandparents, great grandparents all born, married and died in Martinscica, Cres-Losinj (a beautiful place that's on my desktop). I'm just sorry I never knew earlier and had a chance to visit while in the US Army stationed in Germany. There's also a town with the family name on Krk (Linardic). Maybe someday!
