Driving across the country you can see one of the T-rexes from that park, right on the side of the highway, all by itself. You think, "WTF? Why is that there? The midwest is weird!" I didn't know it at the time, but it must be a kind of highway advirtisement to draw in tourists. It obviously didn't work on me, I drove faster to get the hell away from the people that put it there.

However they had no connection to the dinosaurs. They were very distant relatives of the reptiles from which the dinosaurs evolved but nothing more.
