i want to buy Corsair CMPSU-520HX 520W
So, since it PFC, i have to use SMART-ups, right? Or anything will do? I mean, if power goes off, will my PC go down?
I wasn't planing to buy smart-ups. It' costs more than my entire new PC. What should i do?

To date, the PS3 has had several component revisions which serve to reduce power consumption. This in turn results in production savings, lower heat production, lower cooling requirements and quieter running.
With that in mind it will depend on version of PS3 you have. For me personally I have my Xbox360, PS3, TV plugged into this unit. The Minuteman ETR1500 but it looks like it sucks the same amount of power as a computer so if you want just a couple of minutes use maybe EN400
