  • aahh 240p we meet again. <3

  • Jimi Hendrix - Wait Until tomorrow

  • hahah Andy when he was in college and the red curtain's still new

  • Sound like Filtertrons a little at 3.21, Stray cat strut feel...

  • I love this guitar.....whats the deal?...is it special order/built to order?

    Cant find one anywhere?.......

  • u guys should do a review on the john 5 guitar modles the one witt the funky headstock the squier and the custom shop

  • Do the bodies actually breath?

  • i hate Telecasters so much. the body. the layout. the bridge. the tone knobs. the neck. this thing is fucking hideous!

  • @ThePoorhillbilly wy do you watch this video then?

  • what pickup wer u using in the beginning?

  • Andy u play better than that gregsguitars guy, u put GUT into it!

  • the lead singer/guitarist of the group Dawes has the same guitar. It sounds great live. Saw them in Philadelphia.

  • If you're not an older person, you're going to look stupid playing this

  • I got one of these on Ebay for under $2K. Removed the S-1 gimmick electronics and replaced it with an RS Guitarworks kit. The neck feels really nice and it looks quite a bit like the one he's playing. Great guitar, great sound.

  • thumbs up if the only reason you watch these vids is to hear andy play

  • what color is that pickguard vintage white or parchment

  • vintage cream sorry

  • ha remember hogue barmichaels? those were the days. kick Tae in the balls for me

  • nice man! how much are these tele's?

  • currently $3,600 USD

  • i really liked the tone you got when you "kicked in some overdrive". i thought it really retained the fender tone of the tele and the twin reverb. what pedal were you using to get the overdrive?

  • thanks, it's was a Fulltone Fulldrive 2.

  • nice guitar, yeah I first bought a tele because strats are so overplayed and cliche but I still love strats anyway

  • they are more similar in sound to strats than most people think. A tele is a bit more compressed sounding, It makes the bridge pup more usuable for dirty sound and lead I think.

  • i think what it all comes down to is which one you personally feel comfortable playing. one isn't better than the other. telecasters are great guitars. i've owned one along with a strat but i sold it and replaced it with another strat. I'm just a strat player. if you're like me, you play the guitar that sounds and feels the best for you. strats just do it for me. as for the relic series, they're corny and a total waste of money.

  • What would this guitar sound like with, not a metal sound but some heavier distortion, i love the look but i play rock and metal.

  • I don't know who agrees with me but, I think a lot of this stuff is just pretentious guitar wank. Much as I know that different guitars produce different sounds, I think that some people read into it too deeply and spend too much time tone chasing when they could be thrashing out and rocking. I'll probs get... what is it that people say, flamed? for saying all of this, but I just wanted to make my point (Y)

  • True my friend - tone is in the fingers!

(although i'd still love to own one of these teles!)

  • hell yeah I agree!

  • the strat behind him is so much more exciting.

  • Strats are boring as fuck. A Strat says "Hey look at me, I play the same guitar as everyone else! Wanna hear a blues scale?"

  • well yeah thats what i think to,

  • tell that to jimi...

  • or maybe it just says "i don't give a shit if this is a mainstream look, i like the tone and the feel"

  • I have a MIM rosewood Telecaster that sounds exactly like that.

  • sound is great cause of the player. 90% is player 10% is guitar. but i could be wrong?

  • how is that though? i know where you're coming from but if your a bad player with a marshall bluesbreaker and a gibson les paul then its gonna sound good

  • no youre not... believe me. Ive heard people through some great gear sound like shit... my gear is a epi les paul 100, crate vc 50 and a pedal (shitty guitar, nice amp, nice pedal) Decent gear and people witch much nicer stuff sound like crap. I used to think when people said tone is in the fingers, it was a whole buncha bs. But seriously it really comes from the fingers and style

  • @papaburrrrr yes you forgot to factor in the amp and pick into the equation.

  • @papaburrrrr no i think 10% the guitar,50% the player and 40% the amplifier ;)

  • @papaburrrrr Nope! Eddie Van Halen was great because he had a great guitar. Lol!

  • So cool!

It would be great to make a review of the new Jazzmaster thin skin!!

  • Holy shit! That's the guy behind the voice!

  • ahah

  • Can anyone tell me what year my telecaster is.

  • Lord have mercy please Lord put that guitar in my hands one day. Perfect color, great look, killer finish, amazing tone, love the neck and must have it. One day, one day my friends.

  • write a blues song, then send it to them to try and convince them.

  • Love mine! Fender Custom Shops rule!

  • is just my imagination or this tele souds like a strat????

  • that sound like a tele to me

  • this's STD Customshop?

  • No words to describe!

    Awesome!

  • the blues deville telecaster is nicer but either way nice review...keep it up!

  • Sweet!

  • nice!
