Scotland. It's a complicated case regarding class, government and severe depopulation. All I know is I look out the window and see a land still scarred. But...despite infights the native Americans lived in much more harmony with thier surroundings than other cultures. They buried the restants of their camping, killed no more buffalos than necessary and only the smallest, weakest ones, they did not harvest a plant empty but in such a way the next year the plant was growing and so on. They respected nature.
