  • Oh God... =( . TITANIC NEVER FORGOTTEN !!!!!!

  • :(

  • any one else notice the guy passing out at 4:17?

  • the 11 people that disliked this dont have a great relationship like Jack & rose did!

  • I've loved every bit of history of The R.M.S Titanic since I was seven.

It's absolutely fascinating. I would love to go down to the bottom at some stage in my life and see the ship wreck myself. It's something I've wanted to do.

The movie has been my favourite since then as well.

  • NEVER FORGOTTEN

  • who the fuck would dislike a video about a tragic death story which makes me tear up every time..pay yer respects poeple!sheesh

  • awwwwwwwwwww

  • I pray peace to all the ones who died onboard the Titanic

  • It's late, it's dark and it's freezing cold, can you imagine what those people went through when this massive vessel started to sink right under them?

    Unreal.

  • This is so sad, I would have liked to live back 'then' 1912 and to have been on Titanic. :)

Keelasever is very right, no one in that video is alive to, NO ONE, not even the youngest.

  • nice video thanks for the footage

  • I just want to see what the sinking looked like, but we shall remember what happened.

  • My god Titanic is magnificent back in the day

  • nice song for a sad long cold freeze night on April 14, 1912.

  • end is total shite, very incongruous to the rest of it. failzor on uber long credits, but good otherwise.

  • look at that guy at 1:00..such a badass..probably an architect for the ship an those are the blueprints...what do you think is on his mind? maybe hes thinking this is a beautiful ship

  • my bad i meant 0:55-1:00

  • I'm sorry, but seeing the honorable Captain Smith, makes me angry at Ismay. Rumor has it that his insistence to break records is the cause of this catastrophe. He ignored the wise captain's warnings to take it easy. Look who went down honorably with the ship, and who jumped on the lifeboat cowardly. Of course, I was not there, so I don't know the real truth, but that sounds pretty accurate to me!

  • @maureen1002 Did Bruce Ismay really sneak into a lifeboat like in the movie Titanic?

No. There are no reports of Bruce Ismay disguising himself as a woman to sneak into a lifeboat as he does in the movie. However, First Class Passenger Jack Thayer said that he saw Bruce Ismay pushing his way into Collapsible C.

  • @AMY1213141 actually, yes he did. when he got back to America from the lifeboats, he continued with his business, but he went through a lot of interviews in which they learned what he did and from then on people were attacking him, calling him cowardly, he was know as the biggest coward, and other things which made him resign from his job and keep a low profile b/c of all the hate he was getting. He later died from a brain hemorrhage or something like that, I cant remember exactly what.

  • @zkhan2007 good to know,(i dont even remember when i posted that comment)

  • @maureen1002 Yup yup, and he was probably behind the crappy rivets, what was up with the compartment chambers not going all the way up?

  • @maureen1002

And that's just as it is. A rumor, and a very unlikely one too. Titanic had no chance of breaking records. The Cunard ships Lusitania and Mauritania were the speed ships on the Atlantic. Whether Ismay influenced Captain Smith is unknown. As he was just a passenger, he had no such authority.

  • the instrument that's played at 1:13 is it a bag pipe ?

  • I think back on the movie (the latest)...where they dont let the 3:rd class members go to a lifeboat...how many drowned behind closed doors?...terrible...hope that they have found peace...

  • if you where 3:rd class you had 1 of 10

(if you where a male) chances to get on the lifeboat.

if you where in first class (as a female)you had 100% to get on the lifeboat

    damn rich ass holes!

and i hope they all find peace

  • poor apparently do you realize the donations assholes make to poor trash like you? get your mogan david. sleep on a corner. it is called jealousy because some people do something with the life that is given to them. so bite my pilow.

  • ok umm..... geee... don't need to be an asshole! what have I ever do to you?

and my name is Martin not David!

  • why is it in a fast forward mode?

  • @smithidiot it's not fast forwarded per se, it's not being played back at it's original frame-rate, at the time the fram-rate was worked by hand so it varied easily from film to film. Today's standard frame-rate of 24 fps wasn't standardized till around 1922.

  • Correction: 1926

  • what the hell is happening at 4:25?

  • our life is a short journey.

noone in these old images is alive.not even the joungest.

hundred years is nothing but all to us.

  • this cant be real?

where did you get this from?

  • thanks for posting that . .it was great.

  • nice work

  • sad :,-( the movie makes me cry soo much...

  • omg im crying right know .,,,,......,,,,

  • I find it a little hard to believe that this is the original footage made 97 years ago.

  • why is it hard to believe? Motion Picture was first invented in the late 1800s (the first film was in 1888, granted it was only 2 seconds long). But there are silent films dating back to the 1910s. Famous Silent Film actress Lillian Gish made her first film in 1912 (same year as the Titanic's voyage).

  • Well with the movie and everything the titanic has been turned into a commercial name I didnt think there was any original footage of it.

  • omg its so sad

  • jeez, your spellings not up to much is it...

  • I always wanted to see real footage of her. Is it crazy of me, but I want both at my wedding and funeral for this music to be played. I just think it is the most beautiful thing I ever heard.

  • Yeah listening to that music itself makes me wanna cry because I've seen the movie titanic so many times that that's what I associate it with.

  • that song is sad :(

  • what is the titanic music called.

and very nice video indeed. wish i could see the ship in 1912 :-)

  • U & me both

  • Most overused song ever.

  • @captainbest i think its called "My Heart Will Go On"

  • Thank you for posting this splendid footage of a world long gone by. My father was 15 in 1912 so it is not so long ago for me. It was a different world - in some ways better, in some ways worse, but World War 1 put an end to it forever.

  • GAwd ive been looking for old footage of her!

  • i have read books and seen the movie a million times and i still can believe that the ship really sank and that all those people really died its just so sad

  • its olympic

  • hey! i need your help.. whats the tittle of the

OSTs you used in this video? specially at 0:01?

please.. help me? i hope you could.. thanks

i really want it badly.. i hope you could help.. :) i'll be looking forward to it. thanks

  • how, in this world, someone din't know that the Titanic sink, this is the most absurd thing ever

  • sarcasm.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA not funny.

  • its looks like the rms Olympic with the promenade deck opened, but this first part was shoot six weeks before they covered it.

And its too larger to be Olympic

  • How come it didn't show the Titanic sinking?

  • there is no actual footage of the ship sinking.

  • are you friggin stupid? I hope you arr joking. As if someone in a lifeboat would have a movie camera filming the Titanic cinking and AT NIGHT to boot.

  • Lol!

  • but you did read the info on the film didnt you? it is a 1912 "remake" of what they know happened...its from 1912 but not on the real boat...

  • Nice throwing in the Adventure out of Time game theme at the end

  • He he he thanks.

  • Her name is celine dion.

  • this is just soo sad im crying my eyes out now!

    *sobs*

  • This is so sad, I cry just thinking about it, I got this music in my ipod though

  • this is the prettiest wordless song ever!

  • what is the title and the artist of the song in this video? if any knows, please tell me! i like this version,

  • Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On

  • the instrumental version, or....?

because the number celinedion - my heart will go on is an other version (the version that i have.

  • To all who thinks that was Olympic at the beggining. NO YOU ARE WRONG. THIS IS IN FACT TITANIC. It was before they enclosed its A deck promenade. You can even read TITANIC on the bow. A titanic EXPERT like me would know. There IS more than one difference. Such as the bridges shape.

  • Saved From the Titanic ?

  • In Nacht und Eis, made the same year, but after SFTT

  • The clip is great, the mistakes in the orthography at the end are not...

  • Where did u get this?!

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO, GREAT JOB!

  • ese no es el titanic, es el olympic por q tiene la cubierta "b" expuesta ..

en el titanic la cubierta "B" estaba expuesta desde la mitad del barco hacia atras

  • It is the Titanic! In case you didn't notice, but at the beginning it says TITANIC. This footage was found in a garden shed. So it's the actual Titanic and do not contradict the truth.

  • It's the Olympic. at 1:09 when it shows the ship in full you can tell by one of the decks, compare the Olympic to the Titanic and you can tell the difference. Vids have been used of the Olympic to say it's the Titanic when it's not.

  • The alterations did take place after launch and before sailing date. It would be hard to date this. My complements on a good vid none the less. Well done.

  • Brokenpoor,

You're somewhat right. I don't think all of the footage was Titanic, but the beginning was definitely the Titanic.

  • This was the actual Titanic. This footage was found in a garden shed (weird I know)

  • what i meant was beginning footage XD, but yeah the other footage wasn't.

  • The footage at the beginning of this presentation is in fact the Titanic not the Olympic as previously mentioned.

This footage was taken in Belfast Ireland before she had been completely fitted out, and the enclosure of the promenade deck was done quite late in the project. She's not even painted yet.

When she arrived in Southampton the enclosure was there.

This well known footage is widely documented as being of the genuine Titanic.

  • This is of the Olympic, note that the forward deck is not enclosed as on the Titanic. Similar design but the only way to tell the early prints apart.

  • Good introspect, but let's pretend it's Titanic. LOL.

The music makes it seem like it is Titanic.

  • only footage of the titanic may the people that were left on board R.I.P god bless them

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO, GREAT JOB!

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO, GREAT JOB!

  • thank you for posting this! 5 stars and favorite!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So sad.

    Thanks for the vid., though.

  • is this the real titanic or not?

  • Excellent video! so sad; may they all rest in peice.

  • Great Job

    It makes me cry :(

    5/5

  • great

  • this clip most be worth alot!

  • This footage is history which must be preserved for future generations.

  • if you own this stuff then keep it its so rare

  • is this the movie titanic or real ship?

  • It´s a real ship...:-)

  • Hate to spoil the fun but this is not the Titanic its the Olympic Titanic`s sistership there is no glass on A deck and captain Smith is filmed aboard Olympic as has been well documented but a nice piece of historical footage.

  • You are correct - this video is of Olympic, not Titanic. Enclosing the A Deck promenade on Titanic was considered to be an upgrade, and was the most obvious visual difference between the two ships. The Olympic has been used as a stand-in for Titanic because so little film of Titanic survives today. Most of the pictures taken of the ship during its voyage went down with the ship.

  • i noticed that too.

  • i was in belfast in dat6 plase where was Titanic building.......owesame!!!!!!!!!!! love Titanic :*

  • Excellent footage! I have never seen this before , so it was an honor to view it. Thank you.

  • You are very much welcome. Again for all of you people wondering where the heck I have obtained the video it is in the credits.

And for those whom had given the correction on the musical credit on the first song... I do thank you very much and when I do find the time and energy and patience and a new power supply for my PC.. I will generate a more correct version.

  • That ship still amazes many many people around the world. Such a tragedy, but a good lesson about human´s stuidity. 1500 people died because an idiot wanted to arrive earlier. Ignorant.

Anyway Titanic is quite a legend.

  • British Pathe preview only

  • yes she is a british ship...!

  • this is just amazing you have those videos!!

  • great video. i think it is important for people to hear about the titanic so that they pay respect to the people who died during it. r.i.p to all titanic casualties </3

  • This video is exelent footage i really really enjoy it. and the soundrack goes wit it and it actually makes me b there live to jst c what it would b like and to c how the ppl reacted and stuff.

  • wow that pretty cool that you got that footage!! Wonderful video!!

  • WOW. That is the most greatest footage i ever seen. I mean i Don't see footage of Carpathia survivors. Good Footage

  • This footage is AMAZING!!

  • I am fascinated by the Titanic and I appreciate you putting this vid up. 5/5

  • no.. in actuality, this is Titanic. The only footage of Titanic that ever existed. The reason you notice that the forward promenade deck sides are not enclosed, is because she was not yet complete at this stage. The Prom Deck sides were altered toward's the end of fitting out process, because White Star were receiving complaints from Olympic passengers, claiming that they were being sprayed with water, as they walked the deck. Therefore, on Titanic, the side's were later enclosed.

  • Very interesting footage, but it's not the Titanic living Belfast in the first minute. It's actually her sistership the Olympic, which is exactly the same except for the Promenade Deck.

  • Wow that ship is beautiful, yet a monster in size!

  • if by any chance you have titanic 1953 and a night to remember please upload them, let me know the answer when you get this message.

  • I have had an obsession with the Titanic, sinie I was three. This picture movedme in a way I never knew existed. Please, tell me where you got the film from

  • Awesome footage. Kinda sad to be honest.

This beautiful music is from Titanic soundtrack, written by James Horner!

  • awesome I want this music how can I get hem?

  • thats not the titanic at all it has 3 smoke stacks not 1

  • Actually, the first shots ARE of Titanic. They were taken a few months before her voyage. Her distinctive partially enclosed promenade had not yet been installed, and so this film is often assumed to be of Olympic. Rest assured, it IS Titanic, the only known existing footage of her (pre-sinking).

  • the one ship with 1 smoke stack is the Carpathia and they even mentioned it so stfu

  • that dosent even look like the titanic, more like the olympic with the exposed promenade deck and everything

  • omg wonderfull!

  • omg Im crying now :'(

  • this music makes me cry because this ACTUALLY happened

  • good stuff

  • aww i loved this video <3

    its so sad =[

  • was this the REAL titanic? the titanic is my FAVORITE movie

  • Great job!

  • The music is so sad it makes me cry.

I love it when videos and stuff bring back memories its so exciting but sad at the same time.

  • sweet memorites i love this

  • The footage on the crew that was "rescued at sea"was actually a lifeboat drill carried on by the British Board of trade. Please get your facts straight.

  • Great footage, thanks.

  • i feel so sorry for the ppl who passed away that day

  • Me too!! :(

  • wasn't that big really was it

  • Hands a melon to Molly Brown? What does that mean? I admit I laughed..then felt bad because the video was amazing and I feel for the passengers. But wow..I don't get the Molly Brown line.

  • good video 5 stars and favorites

  • ok i know how the titanic sank for real u will never guess but i dont want to talk about it

  • very good !

    Ich bin sehr beeindruckt.

  • ya that ship in the begging in not the titanic but the olympic. you can tell by the a deck weathering. olympic had a lot less titanic had the weird front weathering. it looked just like the brittanic..look it up

  • that was added almost at the end of construction. As you can see in the video the ship is not finished.

  • The 'weathering' you are on about was installed just after construction so people could distinguish between Olympic & Titanic..The video IS Titanic...She is still under construction so the cover on the first half of Promenade Deck A would not yet have been installed. That is why it is missing.

  • whos that guy 5.24. great video btw

  • A sad story, nice vid but shame about the audio.

  • the ship shown from 00:09 to 01:09 is not the Titanic but one of its sisterships, either the Olympic (which I think is more likely) or the Britannic.

  • It is the RMS Titanic.

  • It is hard to say. It could be the Titanic on an advanced yet not final stage. But it could also be the Olympic. What makes you so confident?

  • I have a real photo of the ship at 58 seconds. And on the photo, it say's the rms titanic.

  • Ghosteyya, do u know what means by HYPERBOLE??

  • yes it is titanic indeed

  • the ship in the bigging is not the titanic

  • its so hard to believe its that ship that sank to the bottom of the atlantic ocean/tear/tear

  • Millions? There were about 2000 people on board, aprox 1,400 died and about 600 were saved...but yes, its a sad story

  • its a sad story there millions of people in there and only a few got safe.=(

  • great video thanks for puttin it up gonna show my dad he had family on the boat from southampton an they went down with that boat !! so thank you i've never seen actal footage i just hope it's real ??

  • Rest in peace all swedish and other who died on the boat that horrible night 1912!

  • What a sad story. America's heart will always go out to the victims and survivors of this horrific accident.

Thanks for posting this video, though!

  • just american's. u americans are so self centered. the whole world cared not just america. the whole world continues to care.

  • I dont think they meant it like that. I dont want to turn this into a debate, but dont refer to all Americans as self centered. It's simply not true, any more then it is about your country.

  • ya it looks smaller,, but... i lyk the song whats d title??

  • who ever uploaded that thx ! its great but r u sure its da real stuff:S

  • Where did you get all this footage?

  • its so sad to watch it knowing what happened to it and seeing the actual people like the captain and knowing that they died on the ship so thankyou for uploading it :)

  • DAYUMMMMMM. This is great stuff.

  • No, the first 1:12 of footage is actually of the Titanic. The only piece of film of Titanic known to be in existence in fact.

  • "Hymn To The Sea" isn't Enya or Celine Dion. It's James Horner for the music and Sissel for the singing.

Enya didn't do any of the Titanic movie music; it was just done in her style, because that's what was wanted.

All Celine Dion sang was "My Heart Will Go On".

    =]]

  • It's no titanic, is the Olympic...

  • it is da bloody titanic

  • nice

  • Fascinating.

  • Omg i cant see this.. Its just too sad

  • wow ive finally seen actual footage of titancic
