  • I don't know. He probably caught it, but theres some doubt, the benefit should go to the batsmen normally.

  • GOT 'IM!!!

  • Why is it that every cricket video i go to its always Indians, Paks and Aussies Arguing? Like get a life tbh, Im indian and that was not out. Now stop arguing like 3 Year Old

  • @lukecro1 You forgot the Poms (who invented the winge lol) and the Sri Lankans, they too are always on here complaining about the Indians. Hang on thats pretty much every test palying nation bar the Kiwi's (and they too complain but only when playing Australia). The only non-complainers are the West Indies and they are too stoned to complain lol.

  • That is NOT OUT!

  • Bullshit British commentary.

  • @ KSHITIZISHBK 1st i dont take orders frm u,i'll speak when i want to.2nd try comparing 1 with 5 matches..not so comparable...3rd we are winning this,regardless.

  • @s1u2k3h4a5n6 It was a suggestion not an order for your over confidence.Did'nt knew that you have a crystal ball for seeking future. When will you Aussie learn to appreciate others too?Today awesome batting from your side.Ya we appreciate it.Don't take old facts. If you have beaten us than we too have showed you pavilion. So don't mock yourself.Lets make a deal.Just pure thoughts.Lets appreciate two teams in a sporting manner.Anger will give us nothing. You played well,congrats....

  • @s1u2k3h4a5n6 yeah well, thanx.it was a nice match and a satisfying victory.I'm not overconfident just really defensive.

    PS:I am indian.

  • lol the commentator is basically saying at the end "well fuck cameras, now i can't be biased and say it was out since the stupid camera clearly shows it hitting the grass first..."

  • LOL who the hell is that commentator. Talk about only seeing out of 1 eye

  • What camera slow or fast it's bloody not out

  • Must admit, full speed it looked out. Slow mo showed it was not out.

  • I'm a pom and ashamed of this type of commentary.

Someone name and shame the "cameras always cloud the issue" muppet - is it Simon Hughes?

  • @TimRichards1963 It is Simon Hughes, but it is also well know that they do in this case.

  • @perrotthill : thanks for confirming it was indeed Simon "I went bald in my 20s" Hughes - but "it is also well know that they do" what? :-)

  • Only way england could ever win an ashes these days.

  • It was accepted and forgotten because it is Australia, you're right. What goes around, comes around.

  • why not refer it upstairs if there is any doubt whatsoever?

  • that not out

  • camera Clouds the vision my ass i can tell his a pom

  • I actually forgot about this. Because, for some reason, they didn't show the replay that much lol

  • @thelostluv22 Thats what they are goat tracks. And guess we will have to wait over two years to find out how Australia will go on these pitches as India hides away and breaks in a whole new team.

What an absolute lie. India is notorious for blaming everything on the result. This series there was accusations the press was putting pressure on Sachin to score his hundred hundred. Then pitch doctoring accusations. Then sledging. Heres what you blame, batsmen that dont move there feet.

  • @OzisGodscountry Well you should not worry about this. After all you are mighty Aussies. You are best.Goat tracks are jumping pads for you.Come here and you will find out that how easy these tracks are for you.Rest assured you will leave this country your heads down no matter how new our team is and then we will see what kind of no 1 team are you.Well lets forget it,it is in future.Lets get back.I told you to wait for 1 day series and we will show you.So whats up now?

  • @KSHITIZISHBK After the Aussies beat Sri-Lanka tomorrow we will be in front so whats your point.Yes,India seems to want to play finally which is great.Pity they cant keep it up any longer than a day.

  • @OzisGodscountry We will prove it wrong mate.Im too waiting for tomorrow.Should be a crackerjacker.

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Cracker or crakerjack not cracker jacker lol.

  • @OzisGodscountry Mate you want to point on English i use?Anyway my spelling was wrong so was my prediction. Not a CRAKERJACK but a humiliating one.Lankans destroyed your team absolutely without mercy and absolutely one sided.i told you its a funny game. You were outplayed in every department and lost a bonus point too.Lets see what happens tomorrow.Seems like without Clarke you are nothing lol.

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Hey I was just helping you with Australian colloquialism not having a go. As yesterday game shows,Australia doesnt need just one player anymore since our selectors are starting to pick players who are inform not just the regulars.

  • @OzisGodscountry Thanks for your help mate but no hard feelings since i worked for OPTUS so i have an idea about Aussie culture.I hope you are not being sarcastic....lol....Anyway yes as i said earlier that we were outplayed yesterday but actually its good for series since all gates are open now.Since you trust your selectors what do you feel about Punter?Punter is regular mate. You said only inform players are promoted then why are you carrying him?5 single score in 5 matches

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Nah no sarcasm lol.Punter,hmmmm. I think hes a fantastic Test player but his ODI career best is well past him.Still probably the best fielder in the world but shoudnt be in the ODI tea.As I said the selectors are STARTING to pick inform players but still cant seem to realise Ponting shouldnt be in the ODI side.I dont trust the selectors, never really have. You only have to look at Wade. Hes been beating Haddin for years but once again they held onto Haddin.

  • @OzisGodscountry This is bullshit.I mean Wade is scoring at good pace, just an innings or two he failed.Haddin is not performing from a while in one day game. But i think return of Shane Watson in top order demands someone strong in middle order.May be Aussie selectors feel that Haddin's experience is good then opening skills of Wade.

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Whats bullshit?Haddin's top score in his last 20 innings in both tests and ODI has been 55 at an average of 14.65.Throw in a few catches he would have caught when he a bit younger and the writings on the wall. With Watson returning I think it sorts out Australias batting.Cowan and Watson open then Warner,Wade,Clarke,Hussey (for a little while) as well as a few others just on the fringe. Seems I picked it,Ponting has been dropped.Maybe I should be a selector lol

  • @OzisGodscountry If you are a selector then first name you will put on list will be yours..lol

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Thats why they lost against you guys lol,I didnt play PMSL. Nah I want Australia to win so no Id be in the stands with a cold beer .

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Told you didnt I mate. Ponting out of ODI Side but still in Test side. By the way wtf is going on with Sri Lanka? First flogged Australia then India? Did someone spike their water or something!!!

  • @OzisGodscountry Seems like WE stole their Beer cans.lol I hope Aussie gives them whooping of lifetime. What are you expecting about next encounter with them?

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Im actually a bit nervous,I think they are hitting form at the right time and Malinga is on fire. But that said I think playing in Hobart we should roll em (fingers crossed). I would much prefer a Australia vs India final so tell your boys to pull their finger out lol.

  • @OzisGodscountry Advice taken...Well i too hope for Aussie win.If lanka wins then we are out of the tournament.I know your team will try their best but with lanka on fire now,i feel its a bit tough nut to crack.I hope Warner blasts tomorrow and Watson make a boom boom comeback.Fingers crossed.

  • @KSHITIZISHBK Sorry mate they just batted too well. Well done to your boys, awesome effort. Now Australia to beat Sri Lanka then bring on the finals. Kohli is your danger man I believe after his 133 not out from 86 balls is one of the best batting displays Ive seen in a while.

  • @OzisGodscountry Thanks mate.Ya they played well. But real issue is now.Ihope you win not because we will be in final but for interest of game.I feel India vs Aussie will be more interesting concept then Srilanka.no hard feelings but it does not sounds appealing.I hope your players keep up as professionals since Lanka humiliated them last time so i believe vengeance will be on your mind.Waiting for big match.see ya, take care.

  • @OzisGodscountry Very well played today. You kicked our asses in last 20 overs.Without a shadow of doubt best batting performance in past year.Let's see what happens later...

  • @OzisGodscountry And if you want we can put harsh words on one side because we are not mutual enemies and concentrate on good things and enjoy good cricket. We both have different arch rivals if you know what i mean.So what do you say?

  • @thelostluv22 Whats an "illegal relationship"? Oh and I satisfy my woman often I assure you lol.

  • @OzisGodscountry Well that's good.You are an exception.lol

  • @thelostluv22 Who's number 1 in ODI? Thats right Australia. They didnt get there winning one world cup semi final, they got there by winning consistently.776 games for 743 wins speaks for itself.Yes India can beat Australia, they arent invincible and now is probably the time to do it as the team is being shuffled around a bit.One last thing,I never hid when England beat us,they were the better team.Thankfully the selectors have been changed and more young players are coming through

  • @OzisGodscountry I never said earlier that we doubt your team.Hell you are one of best.My point was to prove that even India can play as one of best. You should be happy because we consider win against Aus bigger than world cup.We want to see our team defeating the best but we never expected that losing the matches will show a way to everyone specially PAKIS to make a rude fun of our team. That is why i decided to wait for 1 day series so we can shut their asses and glad we did it

  • @KSHITIZISHBK You won a game against us,well done and well deserved. But as Ive said many times its about consistency. You have to keep winning andjust remember the T20 and the ODI games are just foreplay the Tests are the real deal.

  • @OzisGodscountry Ya that is true. That is why we were excited about this tour this time but things went wrong. No worries we can wait for sometime. At least we are winning matches now again.

  • @KSHITIZISHBK I must admit I thought it might have been an Indian whitewash before the first test.Impressive batting lineup on paper. But without sounding like Im one-sided (I am really lol) but the whole team bar a couple looked like they didnt even want to be on the field.

  • @OzisGodscountry But tables seem to turn around now. They were not impressive at all in test series so you can take funny side with you.But as i promised you about a good show in 1 day series so here i am.The whole team wants to stay on field till opposition goes down and out and i sound to be as one sided now lol.

  • @thelostluv22 Dont trend worldwide?Thats why theres websites for Indian women seeking a man anywhere away from India .

Winning a series? Thats an understatement and a half.Australia absolutely smashed India.Thats 8 tests in a row where India was made to look like Bangladesh.

A ODI win is all you can come back at me with?We just beat India in 4 tests by record breaking figures and you come back with a ODI win for India lol.

India is going to hide now for two years, afraid to play OS

  • It was out. No doubt.

  • @thelostluv22 See theres Indias problem, whereas most nations struggle to play consistently well on Indias pitches (sorry goat tracks), India struggles everywhere outside of India.Hence the reason India will not tour outside of the sub continent for the next 2 years!!! That doesnt make you the best in the world,it makes you a rabbit too scared to come out of the hole.

  • @OzisGodscountry See,India were given a decent spinners wicket and they still got a flogging. The wickets this series were some of the best,non-biased wickets Ive seen anywhere in the world, nothing to do with being Australian, just great pitches. Heres what India should do,drop Gambhir,Dravid,Tendulker,Laxman,Yadav.Get another decent speedster or two.Honestly the batting yesterday from India wasnt lazy.No feet movement, poor timing.Kohli is Indias only exeption,he's a gun

  • yeah..cameras always cloud the issue. hate those. :-p

  • @thelostluv22 When India learns to win OUTSIDE of India regulary THEN you can suggest India are anything more than a one tornament wonder lol.

  • check this tribute to Ponting after he strike form!

    watch?v=Tli8ktcuXuw

  • Not taken on the full..bad decision.

  • Even the commentator is being a tosser :S

  • Bad decision. The BCCI really needs to accept the DRS system. Yes, it has its errors, but the pros totally outweigh the cons.

  • @thelostluv22 So hows India's vagina this series? Because right now theres no lube, no hugging,no foreplay.Just us Aussies absolutely pounding the Indians HARD AND FAST LOL.

  • @OzisGodscountry perfectly said,loving the pounding..

  • @s1u2k3h4a5n6 So what about now mate.Loving the pounding now?Buddy it is cricket.Every match is a new match. We were not prepared so we got white washed by a better side. But now you cant make fun of us anymore.I loved the pounding Sri Lanka gave you yesterday. In future speak when you have to not when you want to.Enjoy ass kicking now mate.

  • @ProjectPsychosis He walked the other day before he was given out, dick head.

  • @ashliski

    dickhead

  • Ponting never walks anyway

  • NOT OUT..!!!!

  • Obviously out, keep walking convict!

  • @ashliski its obviously not out, and even so, what kind of comment is that? thats fucking disgusting

  • @Jourdydogyella Your mum is fucking disgusting because she likes the taste of convict spunk!

  • @ashliski that was.......good.

  • @ashliski convict...seriously??? obviously not out as the ball is under the tips of his fingers...u cunts should be convicted for bein cheating pussy tea drinking fags, who when faced with any sunlight cry like little girls run to the pub and drink hot beer! while in there talk to ya pommy mates in the pub like little kids who are learning to talk saying "i fink i better go put sum sun screen on before i burn to deaf"!

  • @thelostluv22 2-0 this series and Clarke makes the largest score ever at the SCG (329). Sorry mate whose fucking who?

  • @arsenal2122 come in india man on march 13 sehwag will score 330 in one day itself....sorry to say that india can take revenge only in India

  • If I was 3rd umpire it would be not out. But the camera does always give an illusion of the ball bouncing when a player gets their fingers just under the ball. Therefore to call Strauss a cheat or to say it's carried is wrong to portray as fact, as it can only be opinion. You cannot be sure either way. Hence not out. The umpires here must be convinced it carried to not go to 3rd umpire by the way.

  • IT WAS NOT OUT...

  • commentator : "cameras always cloud the issue" LOL

  • English always cheat, sidebottom, collingwood now fukn this shit.

  • Well if the Aussies have got issues with this...then they just got to STFU! Because Steve Bucknow covered it all for em' the poms.

  • Camera's always cloud the issue eh? That was freakin not out! He says it looked out in normal speed so it must be out when the zoomed up slow mo clearly shows it's grassed. Man!

  • Watch Hughes's awful footwork in the slow-mo. Front foot moves forward about an inch, back foot goes out towards square leg, front foot finally shuffles somewhere near the pitch of the ball...

  • @TheJustgreg I don't think Hughes' footwork is the issue in this video somehow mate, I think it's slightly more to do with a grassed catch given out.

  • aussies getting there own taste...maza aa gaya...lol

  • who gives a fuck....the poms do cause its something to cheer about....let em enjoy winning....christ knows it doesnt happen that often

  • fucking english wanker saying the camera clouds it. it slows it down to have a better look just because you know he dropped it!

  • sour losing australians

  • how was that out? it was touching the ground..?

  • Cheating poms! Oh no, it's just Matt Prior :P

  • well we all know hughes would have been out next ball in the same fashion, caught in slips cause he is a shit cunt so it doesn't matter to much, but that was not out surely, didn't have his fingers under the ball, thus strauss is a dirty cheating cunt. and that commentator is a fuckwit, justifying that it was out when it fucken wasn't, fucken piece of shit pom.

  • @shereboi i agree 100%

  • Billy Doctrove = stinker umpire, absolutely disgraceful. Should have gone to the 3rd umpire for review

  • At 0:09 or 0:10, you can see that Strauss' hands pop up. Why? He didn't catch it.

  • @MrMgt98 at 1:33 you see the ball not carry to Strauss. Why? It hit the ground first

  • @Cricketfan1997 I know, you idiot.

  • being dropped after 1 ggame in this series has ruined phil hughes, lost cause these days, completly lost his way

  • I'm not a slip fielder so I wouldnt know but Im guessing it would be difficult to see if it's bounced or not, especially when your diving forward. if anything the square leg umpire should have spotted it!

  • The issue with this was that the day before the exact same thing happened when Australia were fielding, similar sort of 'catch' that went upstairs and got given not out due to inconclusive footage

  • Andrew Strauss brings shame to the South African name. Even if Phil Hughes does suck and would have been caught in slip shortly after...

  • haha cheating pommy fucks, or should i say south africans

  • CHEATING F"N POMS

  • @shoelace3736 haha, you aussies! cant take it that your a mediocre team going downhill by the second! england on top and you dont like

  • @joshie3212 we thrashed india today....careful what you say....you are poms after all...the masters of fucking up and crumbling......dont get too cocky kid haha

  • @shoelace3736 It's only cheating if Strauss knew he hadn't taken it cleanly. Besides, if you're an Aussie, I don't think you're in any position to talk about cheating!

  • Umpires said it was out. End of story.

  • stupid bastards england are glad they have no dental

  • if this was exactly the same situation but Australia fielding there would have been an uproar, but because Aust were batting it's accepted and forgotten about.....that was clearly not out, blind freddy could see that.

  • It's the karma striking back for 2008 Sydney test against India.

  • @roshanpoojary71188 and what happened then?

  • what goes around comes around..

  • ponting can't complain... cough *sydney test*

  • The bugger...camera always cloud the issue...bastard...

  • I'm Australian, everyone cheats. The English, the Australians, the Indians, the Pakistanis, whatever. Strauss would have known but in the end it's the umpires call, which was out. Not saying he should, but, everyone else does it, so it's fine if he does it?

  • Doesnt Ponting always say take the fielders word?

  • Fucking bias pric commentator. Can see that it bounced and then carries on saying "nah cameras cloud the issue." You can see it mate own up!

  • Not out. Not even close.

  • NOT OUT SON.!!!

  • normally cameras clear up the issue, but in this case they cloud the issue. LOL what a dickhead.

  • lots of wingin" aussies on here : )

  • To be fair it's very hard to know if you take the catch cleanly or not and it's also ironic that Ponting who basically rubbed the ball on the ground when he took his catch against India.

  • if you're english it's not out, if you're australian it's out. Deal with it okay he was given out, just let it go.

  • its stupid, why wouldnt you use the 3rd umpire when its available to you? fucking umpires

  • no camera's don't mystify the issue and so forth in fact 99 times out 100 they actually make it better its obvious from the camera that the ball had touched the ground before the fielder took it.

  • His fingers weren't even under the ball

  • hahaha, idiot commentator, umpire should have gone for confirmation from the 3rd umpire

  • Clean as anything. Unlike Hughes' cheat job in Australia!

  • 'He would have been optionless but to give it not out' Because it was not out. There is never any excuse for incompetent umpiring in this age of technology. When players make mistakes, they suffer the consequances of their errors. When umpires err, other men suffer. Get it right. All time. A big ask, yes. If you're not up to it, don't be an umpire.

  • not out...

  • I'm England. And that's not out!

  • there's a vid of ponting NOT claiming a catch that bounced. watch it.

  • Ponting is the biggest hypocrite!!!!! he bitches to everyone when one of his team mates are falsely caught.. but when he catches a bump ball it's all good??

  • @adidass96 yeaaah biaaatch

popnting can sometimes ba barstard but he is not that kind of cheat like strauss

  • @Shifty581 ye true :P

  • @adidass96 sorry about being so agro :/

just a very passionate aussie supporter :D

  • @Shifty581 nah its ok :) im an indian hope to see a good battle in december

  • didn't ricky ponting do this against India at Sydney test? All are cheaters!

  • Agree it was a bad call by the umpire, unless he conclusively saw the finger under the ball that the camera couldn't rule on. Apparently these decisions will be made easier with 3D TV.

  • this doctrov is the worst umpire right now

  • CAMERAS CLOUD THE ISSUE! Yah right

  • That didn't hit the ground?

  • Worst commentary ever. "cameras cloud the issue"?. Is that why there is a third umpire in cricket?

  • if he got his fingers under the ball, then its out. but that camera angle makes it tough for the 3rd umpire to give it conclusively.

  • that ball definitely either contacted the ground, or strausses finger was between the ground and the ball when it hit ball, and that finger cannot be seen properly in this shot. sooooo.... benefit of the doubt definitely. unless someone has actual sideon footage of his fingers between the ground and the ball?????

  • There is always an optical illusion with the camera. You see these referred and given quite often now.

I genuinely don't think Strauss would have claimed it otherwise.

  • Bad call by the midwicket umpire

  • That so wasn't out - suprised Strauss would be the sort of guy to claim a catch he didn't cleanly take

  • out

  • Can you believe that the English media said nothing about Strauss claming this catch then came out and called Hughes a cheater and a liar when he appealled (not trying to claim it like Strauss here) in the recent Ashes? But of course nothing controversial in cricket is a big deal unless its an Australian getting the benefit.

  • @norths8 They also cleverly omitted reporting on Bell's caught behind in the same match, which he clearly hit, was given out for, but reviewed, and thus got the benefit of hot spot being inconclusive when the bat is moving quickly.

  • Im with ricky on this one ... THATS NOT OUT!

  • I'm glad it was given out, if ricky ponting was the one in the slip and the ball bounced and he caught it, he would've appealed out and would believe it was out himself. Australians have no spirit in the game of cricket

  • @royaltissue and the english do? i was there when an entire stadium booed ricky ponting when walking out to bad at edgbaston for no apparant reason. not much 'spirit of the game' there

  • thats out..... just damn foreshortening of the cameras..

  • rudi had a shocker this series. they should have sent it straight up

  • What fucking bullshit commentary,if that had of been KP or Flintoff would have being sayin how shit the umpires are!!! typical

  • english is always a cheat

  • "Cameras always cloud the issue"

The camera showed the ball hitting the ground

  • @mahlstadt I agree, what a fucking stupid comment by the commentator. How the fuck does a camera CLOUD THE ISSUE!? It gives us another, better, slower view where we can see it better!

  • @mahlstadt phil hughes is a cheat!!!!

  • @joshie3212 You idiot, it was the umpire that called him back and Strauss that grassed it, there isn't even the slight possibility of Hughes cheating

  • When in Rome...

  • STRAUS DID NOT REALIZED? HE IS DODGY

  • i think batsman is unlucky on this occasion.

  • Apparently they play one bounce and your out when the Aussies bat in England!!!!

  • @woolford27 Play it in Australia too, look at the catch Hughes claimed to try and get cook out on 99

  • @woolford27 They also do when Hughes is fielding at short leg. Everyteam has wrong decisions its not the umpires fault you cant win all the time anymore.

  • @s8tank A) Hughes didn't claim that catch, he said he wasn't sure. B) When that incident happened, Ian Botham ACTUALLY CALLED HIM A CHEAT! Would he say the same thing about Strauss here? Of course not, because Strauss is South Afric- I mean English.

In BOTH cases, the fielder was NOT at fault. It was not Strauss' fault here, nor was it Hughes' fault in Sydney. In this case, the UMPIRES were at fault for not sending it upstairs. In Sydney they got it right. Nuff said.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce A) Hughes knew full and well he'd not caught it that's why he didn't celebrate properly and then knew to go along with claiming the catch when Haddin (another Aussie convict wanker) celebrated along with the rest of the close in fielders, that makes Hughes a cheat for knowing he hadnt caught it then giving the impression he was sure he had. Botham was right to call him a cheat because of it.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce Strauss on the other hand genuinely thought he had caught it because it was much closer to his hands than the ball was to Hughes hands. Ive caught catches like that and you cannot tell. I wouldn't call Hughes a cheat if he hadnt' have reacted in the way he did. It was obvious from his reaction that he knew the ball had not carried. Yeah your right Strauss is South African but Symmonds was born in Birmingham, England so that ruins the other part of your argument doesnt it.
