Yeah i agree. You can see that some of the tecniuqes havent changed for about 100 years.

In this kata, the tori and uke are suposed to be wearing heavy armour.

Judo doesn't have katas? I thought kano got rid of them in place of Randoori (free movement)

Imagine the guys wearing a bunch of armor... Most of that stuff was made for guys in full armor and wearing things like swords.
